Very rude employee at the self checkout area , rude for no reason at all ! Judging from all the other reviews it seems this Costco lacks in customer service , it's very unfortunate as people are spending hundreds of dollars to just be treated with disrespect.

A Short little middle eastern looking dude with grey beard didn't let me buy chicken and eggs, I had lost my card and my mother lend me hers so I could buy food for my siblings and guy was being petty about it. Never shopping here again and I'm canceling my membership.

On August 22 went to Costco Turlock only because I was in the area, usually don't shop there because customer service is always the worst, was planning to get just a couple of things; but ended spending more than 300 dollars, when I was at the fast checkout, this lady employee was having the most awful attitude, she came to me and said very slowly, almost whispering..."next time you use this fast checkout, make sure you have 15 items or less", I replied..... where is the sign that says that?, she said there is not sign; but their managers are very strict on making that rule to be enforced. I didn't pay attention to her, she continued checking on my items, and counting, and asking me if I needed her to check for the heavy items in my cart, I was thinking she was giving me a hard time, I was not the only one in that line, they were other customers that probably needed more help. I left, then at the door. This other lady was counting my items, she counted many times, I had a total of 26 items; but every time she was counting she had different numbers, then she said "you have more items in your cart", I told her I didn't think so, she was very rude, making comments and insinuating I was taking items without paying, so she was holding the line, people was looking at me like if I really was stealing from the store..... I was so upset, she called the other guy that was also at the door checking carts, this guy also was counting few times and every time he had a different number, then he decided to call the manager, Alfred the manager came, he counted my items and all was ok, then is when I got so upset, and asked him to call the lady at the door, he did, and told her my items were correct, the employee thought that was very funny, then I mentioned Alfred about the other lady that told me I supposed to have 15 items or less? And he said that was not correct, there is not such a rule, I was that mad, that asked Alfred to call his boss, then Marc came, and he was very sorry for what happened, he asked me who was the lady who told me that, and when we were walking to that checkout station another old guy came Marcus, he is the store manager I Guess, this guy told me it was not necessary to go and confront that employee, and he said it was a bad experience and he will talk to the employees, I could notice the other managers were not happy with that; so I told him that that was the reason I don't shop at Turlock Costco, I go all the way to Manteca or Livermore, since I work in the Bay Area, obviously he didn't want to make things worse; but he was not good at all, since that day I was calling, regional, and corporate office, and nobody will take my call.... They just hire trash, no customer service, no education at all, I can speak up for myself; but is this the way these employees treat people much older than me????? Sucks!!!!! Their customer service is in the toilet, and that Marcus guy good for nothing...... not going there anymore..... and be aware of this employees, they are trash!!!!

We had the worst experience at this Costco because of the cashier Alexus who was helping us. She was extremely rude and had the nastiest attitude towards us.

my wife and just have the worst delivery experience with this Costco ,we order the washer and dryer and the bring it 2 weeks ago broken and we have to return it.we wait for 2 weeks so they could bring new equipment .Today they bring the equipment and one of the 2 guys was really rude and have a violent actitud with my wife that was home alone because I was at work ,drop the tools on the tail floor and start moving our furniture without any care.the other guy ,HUGO was profesional and finish the job .THIS has nothing to do with him But the other guy needs to be fired immediately because thats not a way to do customer service or anything on any job .don't let this guy go to any other house because it could be a danger to any customer

They really need to train all cashiers on membership and business check protocol. As local business owners who have shopped here since opening it is ridiculous that EVERYTIME an employee comes in with a business check and a business membership there is an issue until the manager comes in and has to approve it. So just know if you are already an extremely busy business OWNER you will have to make time to personally go in and do your shopping instead of sending your paid employees to do it. You would think that the thousands and thousands spent there would at least provide polite simple service to smooth business needs but here at this Costco it is not the case. If we could take all of our needs to smart and final we would never step foot in here again. Same problem everytime and same annoyed response from managers and supervisors when I call to complain. DO BETTER

Recently legally changed my name and I wasn't allowed to use my own membership. The cashier didn't ask anyone else to show their ID but me. Showed him my Federal military ID and he thought it was fake. I understand not everyone has seen a military ID but why would I pull out a fake ID to buy razors.

I recently started using the Costco Instacart service and I am very pleased with the service. The delivery schedule is timely and flexible. The shoppers are friendly and professional.

More often then not I leave hear mad. If you're looking for an economical eye prescription go to Walmart instead! On top of that I went to get a bag of dog food and got the lowest priced bag and carried it all the way to check out where the price was inconsistent with advertised price. Had I bought multiple things I wouldn't have noticed. The manager told the employee to tell me that the price was put wrong for the dog food. So I left and hoped I inconvenienced an employee having to put the 40pound bag back. Seriously questioning why I bother with this ridiculous membership.

My mocha had a peice of rubber in noodle in it. Disappointed first time this happened.

My go too store . Can be dangerous though because all I do is spend spend spend. Only draw back is I'm not a peopley person. But it's a go too for all bulk items and things other stores necessarily don't have . Great prices on my favorite coffees .

Competition drivers better customer service. Turlock needs a Sam's Club. I've written before how bad Turlock Costco's customer service is. Today we had the pleasure of dealing with another Costco over paid, privileged Employee. This time it was at a check stand near the employee break room. The clerk was female wearing blue jeans, red/black plaid shirt with glasses that had white tape in the middle of the glasses. I don't know if she was trying to dress up or just her style. The whole time we were in line paying she was talking the the clerk next to her about her air conditioning. Never mentioning one word to us as we paid. It wasn't until she was done scanning did she say "Is that all?" Never asking would you like a box or even attempting to up sell any other product. I think a Sam's Club is way over due in Turlock.
