Food and Drinks from cafe are good but service is terrible. When ordering girl had a bad attitude and kept rolling her eyes. Waited 20 minutes for a breakfast bagel. Asked politely if she could cut it and apologized for the extra hassle. When it came out she threw it on the counter, didnt call our name and missing more than half the ingredients. Looked super unappetizing. Went to see if they could fix it and the girls had a bad attitude asking what was wrong with and when showed to her that it had only lettuce and a tomato on one side and the other half had the egg at the bottom of the to go box she rolled her eyes and took it didnt apologize or seem understanding . When it came again she threw at the counter and didnt call our name. Super rude and unwelcoming. We were being kind at all times bc we know stuff happens but the attitude was uncalled for.

We had a really disappointing experience. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, it took about an hour for our food to arrive. From the start, service was disorganized—they forgot to bring us the drink and coffee menu, then the specials menu, and even our waters. When drinks finally came, it had been about 30 minutes, and they were served with a clear lack of care—straws were tossed onto the table, and we were met with rude looks, especially from one server who we later learned was the owner’s daughter.
What made the experience even worse was the apparent racism. The table next to us, who were white, ordered several rounds of drinks and had them delivered promptly each time, while we waited nearly half an hour just for water. It was hard not to notice the stark difference in how we were treated.
When the food finally arrived, some of the sweet potato fries were still cold and even frozen in the middle. We considered leaving multiple times, but stuck it out because we felt bad. To make matters worse, as a group of over six, we were automatically charged a 20% gratuity, which felt undeserved given the lack of basic hospitality. No one ever checked on our table, and the attitude we received throughout made us feel like an inconvenience.
Unfortunately, this was a zero out of ten experience. Would not recommend.

Food was just ok my son-in-law ordered the chicken and waffles and the waffles were Eggo waffles and then the chilaquiles maybe it's just their spin on things but probably won't be going back with those prices

Been coming here for years because the coffee is my favorite. I don't even live in turlock but I don’t mind making the 30 minute drive to La Mo. However, I feel like the food is slowly downgrading in quality. I usually love the pancakes but recently they have just been doughy and uncooked inside. They give me a stomach ache so I guess I’ll just be ordering something different from now on. Also, they need to do something about the flies.

We only went to the coffee shop as we didn't have time to sit and eat. The spinach egg bites were very good, but my quiche was excellent! I will definitely be back to sit and order at the cafe next time!

Salem was wonderful. The food was great. Everything was wonderful. Set next to water fountain and was peaceful even with the crowd highly recommend this place. Definitely a come back too. Would give a 7 star if I could. Great job everyone.
