Have heard wonderful things about this spot so we decided to try it out since there aren’t any decent places in Modesto. The food was good, I’ll give them credit on this. The service however, was absolutely horrid. We waited about 5 minutes to be acknowledged and seated despite there only being 2-3 other tables dining. It took another 30 minutes to get water and our order placed. We never received our samosas, despite flagging down the server to ask about them, twice. They did try charging for them though until we asked to see the itemised bill. We waited for boxes forever and finally had to go to the counter to pay and the server again wasn’t friendly and seemed bothered to have to attend to us. Glad to have checked this one off of the list but definitely will not be getting our return service. I’d give less than one star for that if it were an option.

The food here is absolutely amazing and full of flavor! The price is also not too high for what you're getting. The vegetable samosas are huge, crispy and flavorful. The sweet Lasse and mango Lasse aren't very sweet but still tasty. The chicken Tikka masala with mild spice was soooo juicy! The butter chicken with no spice [for the kids] holy moly that flavor was spectacular. And the lamb vindaloo, also mild spice, somehow topped the other flavors! Soooo delicious! The garlic Naan and chili Naan were both so crispy and yummy. Our food didn't take long and the young girl working was very sweet.
There are 2 things that would deter us from dining in again, the main one being the service from the server was horrible. He and his buddy were too busy watching YouTube music videos and I had to flag him down to come take our order. We were never offered more napkins [again we had our 2 kids, kids are messy and we like to clean up after them], more than 2 table settings, and when he brought our food he mumbled so low, we couldn't understand him. He never came back to check in to see if we needed anything.......ever. Customer service can make all the difference in a dining experience and that was the main shortcoming of this otherwise nice restaurant. Also having the very used toilet brush was gross to see in the bathroom. Please hide that.
Also, the Kheer is the best I've ever had, most are runny and lacking texture, this one is amazing and soooo full of flavor!!! Must try this for a little something sweet!!!
Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly but it was a good learning experience for them on how to be gentle.

Went for lunch on Sunday afternoon. No buffet on Sunday's anymore but the food was delicious, served at the right temperature and in a timely fashion. The sweets are amazing and always fresh as well.

Cheapest Indian Lunch buffet in the area for only $12.99. But food was disappointing to say the least. 1. Very limited options 2. I visited twice and, on both options, they had the same items. 3. On my second visit, i reached around 1.30 pm, some of the items had been exhausted abut they were not refilled.4. The food was spicy, but not tasty. Somehow, it felt that the food was not freshly cooked, at least the non-veg items.5. Garlic Naan was good 6. Flies all over the place. As a person of Indian origin, i hate giving negative reviews to Indian restaurants but this restaurant deserves it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Buffa, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for what would be a delightful meal.

The food is authentic and amazing if you are a fan. The bread is disappointing though. The biryani is epic.. be careful because their spicy scale is authentic too ?
