Personally the pho had no sort of flavor. I expected the broth to have some sort of scallions or garlic pieces floating seeing that it’s part of making the broth. The veggies were bad if not already. The basil was brown. The Brussels sprouts were ok but I really had to take a close look at the veggies. The brisket was over cooked and dry. The shrimp was definitely over cooked. When I poured it into a bowl there was more meat and noodles than there was broth. I honestly was better off making a cup of beef noodles at home.

Noticing some negative reviews so I thought I’d share my review. I come here often and honestly I’m never disappointed. I love their pho, the broth is simply amazing and has lots of flavor. My favorite thing is the crispy pork belly. I like it in the cold noodle salad, the pho, and the banh mi. Banh mi sandwiches are sooo good. They put sriracha mayo on it and ugh the bottom of my sandwich is always dripping and it’s so good. Probably my favorite item there. The owner is extremely kind and hospitable. Service is honestly really good. I feel like if you had any issues you could probably tell them and they’d fix it for you. I’ve personally never had issues. Everything’s always delicious. I’m moving soon I’ll miss my frequent trips here but I’ll most likely still make the drive lol. 10/10

Okay 2 for 2, Pho Americana! Located right across the street conveniently from CSU Stanislaus, it is one of if not THEE best options for food near campus. Both of the below are from call-ahead orders:My first order was a pork belly cold noodle salad. And whew. There was a whole lotta food that I did not expect and was happily surprised about. Not only was it a lot of food, but it was a great option! Wonderfully cooked meat, and lots of veggies! My second order consisted of the shrimp + meat spring rolls and the 6 fried pork lumpia. WOW those spring rolls are seriously enough and I admit that I prob didn't need to order the lumpia. I opted to save the second spring roll for later and just chomp my way through the pork lumpias. In general, lots of food that is good to share. The spring roll order came with two very thick rolls, which is a meal of itself. The lumpia is a good share order... but I'm over here eating it by myself. All in all, 2 for 2! Pho Americana deserves the 5 stars for great service and good food.

Had pho with wontons, rare steak, and brisket. The wontons were awful. Not cooked properly, mushy, texture was terrible. Steak was cut way too thick when compared to other pho places. It tasted good, but the thickness was daunting. The brisket was nice. T u e broth was very good! Need to work on those wontons.Parking: Private lot. College students parked there, taking up some spacesWheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible

Skeptical at first as I am used to the Vietnamese pho in the Bay Area, though I am pleasantly happy to share that Pho Americana is one for the books! Especially out here in the CenVal! Very happy and fulfilled. I also greatly appreciated the vegetarian options as I'm vegan and it can be quite difficult to discover great food with supportive and friendly staff! Definitely coming back soon! :)

Hidden secret in Turlock. Great food, sticky pork noodle bowl, Pho soup, pork belly sandwich and fries are great. Nice people, great fast service. A must try!!

There's nothing I wouldn't recommend here. Everything is always so fresh and amazing tasting but my go to are the pork belly tacos. I wish I would've taken a picture but they were gone too fast lol. Besides the food the service is always great. The owner is just one of the nicest people I've ever met. I've you haven tried them yet you really should.

An overdue review, but came here to grab some lunch and was... whelmed. Pho Americana is located just across the street from Stanislaus State University so I can see where this can be a great spot for students to swing by and grab a bowl of pho after midterms. However my gripe comes at the price of the items I ordered. I get it - inflation - but jeez, $11 for one banh mi seems like overkill to me? I came on a rainy afternoon, and the inside had two or three patrons enjoying a bowl of pho. I ordered: Hoisin chicken breast banh mi - the SO said it was only OKCrispy pork belly banh mi - this was decent but nothing special to warrant the priceAmerican stacker with cilantro garlic and crispy pork belly - I really enjoyed this one and would order againI waited a long time for my three items as well (at least 25 minutes), and the place wasn't busy at all. Overall, I would probably skip, and I cannot fathom a college student going here without a group of friends to split the cost (especially to share those fries).
