Tesoro fine Mexican restaurant

The server was great. However, the menudo was lacking with ingredients (it was half juice) and the pigs foot was not cooked all the way. It cost $17.99, not worth it!
I got the potato tacos, on the menu it said green and purple cabbage. I got shredded lettuce and purple cabbage. If I would have known, I would have asked for no lettuce. I don't eat lettuce. Very, very disappointed 😞

Stopped by for lunch. Great Alaskan Enchiladas with shrimp. Refried beans had there own flavor as well. Service was great and decor is wonderful.

We stoped by this Tesoro last weekend to try it for the first time. We did not have a reservation and were told the wait would be 15-20 minutes for a table. NO PROBLEM. They were really friendly and nice. We got a table about 10 mins later and we got drinks right away. We sat there with our drinks from 9:20 p.m. Until 9:50 p.m when we decided to go get food elsewhere. We saw multiple waiter and waitresses check in on the tables next to us, but for 30 minutes we were not checked on. The lady at the front was very nice, she asked why we didn’t order food, didn’t charge us for the sodas when we told her nobody took our order and apologized. This may have been a one off miss on their end, but our first time at this Tesoro was not good. My wife is 8 months pregnant and was craving some flautas, so we had to rush to another restaurant and we got our flauta fix. We probably won’t be back to this Tesoro just because we were pretty upset at how we were ignored for 30 mins. It may just be a one off thing, maybe some retraining will help bring up awareness.

It is a good place put the service is bad I have a 5 person family and they sat us down in a small table while there are big tables and they spook to us rudly thx for your time

The restaurant was very dark and dimly lit. My dad definitely would have busted out the flash light. The music was pretty terrible, it was a lot of bad bunny lol. It definitely didn’t match the whole fine dining vibe. The service was incredibly slow. We were seated and told our server would be right with us, I set a stopwatch and it took 19 minutes for him to come and get only our drink order. Another five minutes to actually get our drinks (two sodas). Then we sat for another fifteen minutes waiting for him to come back and take our order. We had finished our sodas and still hadn’t gotten our order taken. Throughout our dining experience that was a problem. Our glasses were empty more than they were full. They did give us soda cups to go though so at least we got our moneys worth there. So he comes and takes our food order, I set another timer. It took 45 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered albondigas and he ordered a taco salad. At first he brought us the wrong food. We waited another five or so minutes and he came back with the correct food. He forgot my tortillas and brought them shortly after. I didn’t really eat them so I didn’t notice until he came back. The restaurant didn’t look super busy. The guacamole was watery and lacking flavor. Lots of tomatoes in it too. Not a fan, the bagged guac we used to get at el pollo loco was better than this. The taco salad (with chicken) was shredded chicken, dry and tasteless. The beans were on the bottom of the tostada shell and made it soggy. We asked for a side of guac, it came in a 2oz cup (if you don’t know, that is SUPER tiny.) and it costed five dollars. For like a tablespoon of watery guac! The only thing that was good was the albondigas. The broth was flavorful, a little spicy, and scalding hot. Everything was cooked perfectly inside of it and very very soft. The meatballs had flavor and perfect soft texture. It was my first time having it and I was amazed. Next time, I’m only ordering that and getting it to go.

The service her is absolutely TERRIBLE! I went in with my family ( for 10 of us) and it was basically empty. We got sat almost immediately and we waited about 30 minutes and no one helped us and more people started to come in and they were helping them. It took a full hour for someone to come and take our drink orders and then another 30 minutes for someone to take our order. We didn’t get our food for almost another hour and drinks took about 45 minutes. We were only offered drinks the one time and we kept trying to order more drinks but were told our waitress would be with us soon and we never saw her again nor anyone willing to help us. Over all the food and 1 drink we got was okay, however this was literallly the WORST service I think I have ever experienced!!!!!!!

Service was pleasant and the restaurant was beautiful. Although I expected better food rice and beans had great flavor but the center of the plate was not great but I enjoyed my visit
