The food is always good here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I like the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes (and the garlic bread). Awesome! I also like the mini pies, especially the chocolate cream and banana cream. The only minor complaint that I have is the occasional faint aroma of what smells like a sewer. I've noticed during my last few visits. But, admittedly, I haven't dined there for a month or two... so hopefully that situation has been rectified. But I'll definitely be eating there again.

Their food always tastes fresh and service is pretty spot on. This is one of our favorite places to eat breakfast in the morning. Their service is generally pretty quick in delivering hot food. I do also want to mention that they are very accepting and hospitable for the neurodiverse. I truly appreciate the genuine care, compassion and support they provide for their customers. Highly recommended; they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It was obviously slow upon entering, and it took about 5 min to get seated, not bad. Due to how slow it is, I'm sure they have limited staffing. Host did great tool our drink orders upon sitting, server showed up not too long after and took our orders. By this time, the place felt pretty empty. The food, however, took forever min 25 min which does not make sense for how empty it was. This has been an issue every time I visit this location. Sometimes the food makes up for the long wait but today it did not deliver. It felt we ordered 2 hobo omelets. They tasted under seasoned and so did be potatoes. The egg was not fluffy at all really thin omelets. 2 oj's, 1 kid meal and 2 hobo omelets $76 I'd say a bit pricey for an below average experience. Not quite sure if I'll be back. Service was good they did their best.

Not easy being attended to after being sat. Took awhile to be served, sat us in a dark corner, the server disappeared, some items weren't brought with food, like silverware, toast, drinks, knapkins, so we were told its busy I'm sorry, sorry doesn't help, if you sit someone, make sure the table has all it needs.

I put a five star for the service and an atmosphere. 1 star for Cooled Breakfast. Why is it, that the cook thing it's ok to serve cooled pre cook food. Especially pancakes and eggs and sausage.. I had a pancake that the butter doesn't even melt on it. I had an scramble egg that look dark that's been sitting for a while on a flat grill and cooled. I had a sausage that was just was Luke warm. I did tell the server, my food was cold. And would like my food hot. Came back with another plate within 2 minutes,just warm. At least the eggs look better.

I was recently in Modesto visiting my family. My brother and sister in law suggested this establishment. We had a party of 10 and were on a waitlist for about 10 to 15 minutes. The place was full but pleasant. We were seated and greeted in a timely manner. I think our servers name was Cori? She delivered our beverages and took our order. Approximately 10 minutes after doing so, the fire alarm goes off. All of the customers including ourselves, sat calmly looking around. Ten minutes goes by and not a single staff member informs us of what is taking place. So customers start getting up and leaving. We were content with conversing with ourselves, minus the annoying alarm. There were no signs of smoke or imminent danger. It was quite unprofessional for the manager on duty to be so invisible. I had also noticed that there weren’t any other staff members around. Until a busboy appeared to deliver us part of our order. Then a server named, Tanner, also appeared with more of our order. They informed us that it was a false alarm and that they were trying to shut off the alarms. They also informed us that they called and canceled the fire department!!! When all of us were served, there were things forgotten, but rectified and then there were things that were delivered cold. Seeing that we were the only ones there, that’s pitiful. I understand that it was our CHOICE to stay, but they still cooked and it was delivered cold, what a shame. But the biggest shame, is that 99 % of the staff abandoned ship, including the manager!!!!! I hope the corporate office will investigate and rectify the problem. There’s a protocol for this and it’s apparently missing structure!!! The manager finally appeared and apologized. The original server also reappeared to rectify her position. I’m hoping that Tanner received whatever tip my brother left.
