I walked by this place in Union Market and it was so cute and I had to give it a try! They serve instagramable desserts which are also very delicious! It's a bit more unique with desserts including sticky rice and putting them in actual coconut shells! Mango kakigori snow ice ($7.95) The flower on this shaved ice made it ~aesthetic~. They also have two syrups which I believe are mango and condensed milk that you can pour on top of it. I will say that the shape makes the syrup all run down the sides, so it's best to pour a little at a time and pour more as you eat so you're not just stuck with plain ice. The actual snow was pretty basic, nothing too special. Mango sundae ($5.95) This was served in a cute little coconut shell! There weresome mango slices, mango ice cream, and a pink sticky rice. The coconut also included the meat of the coconut, but it's a bit awkward to eat. Super cute, super yummy. The desserts took a while to come out, but you might as well hang out in union market with some friends while you wait!

This small kiosk inside The District @ Tustin fits the bill for those looking to for a light and tropical dessert spot. MNGO shaved snow (4/5) - Aesthetic presentation. Incredibly light and fine in texture, like actual snow. Fragrant, not too sweet. Decorated with mango cubes and sits atop a basin of mango jello, which could've been sweeter. Comes with a side of mango syrup and condensed milk. Coconut Ice Cream Scoop (4/5) - Generous portion. Good ratio of density to richness. Appropriate sweetness. Has a slight slimy mouth feel which I suspect is due to coconut meat being integrated in the churning process, which I'm personally not a fan of, but won't take offense to. Note: There was displayed sign saying that the store will be closing for good mid-October.

Stick to the mango desserts. Wanted to come here ever since visiting the SD location of MNGO. As always their presentation is on point and you can't take a bad photo of it. I like the mango to sticky rice ratio (not too much rice, just enough to complement the mango).

All Coco x MNGO is at the District. Parking can be a struggle sometimes, but aside from that it's worth the visit when you're in the area! When I first saw this, I was so excited because I absolutely love mangos!! They have a unique menu with sticky rice, soft serve, shaved ice, and sago! It was my first time trying sago, but it's delicious blend between mini tapioca balls and chia pudding. The mangos are perfectly ripe & sweet and the sticky rice was drizzled with some sort of coconut condensed milk. Everything tasted great together! Only downside is there seems to only be one person working at a time so it may take a while to get your order.

Matcha Kakigōri: This shaved ice was perfect for two people. It was so pretty and it had a light matcha flavor. The ice was soft and not too sweet. Inside there was red bean and grass jelly. The coconut cream tasted okay. This was good shaved ice if you want an aesthetic, but light dessert to share. Overall, this was a great dessert! Price: $7.95

If y'all are good with coconuts, y'all need this in y'all lives. The smoothie is insanely good. The softserve is insanely good.

We sampled a couple flavors, soft serve and gelato style, and that was enough to determine that the texture was very gummy and it left an after taste. Those two items were consistent in all of the flavors we tried and they're things you wouldn't expect when eating ice cream. We all agreed that it wasn't worth getting.

Great quality ice cream. I usually only get plain old coffee ice cream but loved their Oreo coffee ice cream. You can tell the Oreo bits were freshly baked. It's on a cute block with lots of other restaurants and bars so it's the perfect place to stop by when you're in town.

Ice cream here is good, not too sweet and I like how they put it in the coconut. I give the place 4 stars because they don't have the charcoal soft serve and waffles and many other items anymore.

Freaking yummy. I had the option with all lil bit of everything and it was all so good. Mango sorbet, mango soft serve, mango and sticky rice and mango jello. My mom got the mango drink with the soft white filling in between. Omg it was all so fresh and tasty I was this place had more locations and was more accessible to me. It is located inside a marketplace so it's a little tricky to find just so you know! I loved it!

I loooove mango and sticky rice with the coconut sauce. It is my kryptonite. It is equal parts sweet, salty, warm and SO GOOD. That being said about my bias, MNGO definitely satisfied my craving for it. The mango was super ripe and easy to scoop, the sticky rice was warm and fluffy and the coconut sauce hit the spot. The coconut ice cream on the side also balanced out the sweetness. The overall presentation was so aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely be back!

This review is for MNGO: I'm not a fan of coconut so this place didn't intrigued me but I was surprised that they teamed up with MNGO! I've tried MNGO back in San Diego and was pleased with their desserts. It was a nice surprise to see one in the OC. It's in the same stall as All Coco inside the Union Marketplace towards the back of the building. It wasn't crowded when I visited which is good so I wouldn't have to deal with the long wait as I did with the one in SD. Who knows, maybe people haven't realized that they've opened either because I sure didn't until I was scrolling through Yelp. My friends and I ordered 3 different desserts: mango shaved ice, strawberry cheesecake shaved ice, & the O.M.G. We were warned that the shaved ice would take ~10 minutes each because there's only one machine. It definitely did take a while for the orders to come out even when there was nobody in front of us. We got the mango shaved ice first and it's just as how I remembered it! Very refreshing and a light dessert. There was mango bits and mango pudding situated in the bottom of the bowl. The strawberry cheese was a let down and didn't have much flavor to it. The OMG was a unique order that included mango sorbet, sticky rice, mango flan, & mango itself. We all loved the sticky rice!! Everything else was pretty good. Overall it's a nice place to chill for dessert but the wait time can be discouraging. I would definitely recommend to try this place out if you haven't already!

This review is for MNGO! I had the MNGO Cafe in San Diego bookmarked for the longest time and was so excited when I found out All Coco was collaborating with them. The aestethics and presentation of the dessert here are on point - I mean, just look at my photo! I've never seen sticky rice and mango look so pretty before. Not only was the presentation 5/5 but it tasted really good as well! The sticky rice was soft and sweet, and the mango pudding was really good! You also get to choose a scoop of ice cream as well, we opted for mango.. of course. They only have two tables in the front but you can definitely take it outside to enjoy if you prefer since the tray is disposable. Will be back to try the other desserts they offer like their shaved ice!
