Serves authentic foods with almost 10 times higher price than local restaurants in Malaysia. The food will soothe your complaints. Great customer service by a lead server (Kim).

Belachan Grill is a haven for Malaysian cuisine enthusiasts. The roti canai exudes authentic curry flavors, while the Hokkien mee evokes nostalgia. Indulging in creamy, curry puffs, flavorful seafood, curry, and aromatic tea tarik. Amidst the bustling ambiance, Ken & Bee’s warm hospitality, ensures a homely experience. With excellent service and a bustling atmosphere, Belachan Grill is a must visit for Malaysian food enthusiasts. Highly recommended!

The food here is absolutely AMAZING!!! It truly is authentic Malaysian food. The only reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is the service. The waiters just disappear and you have to ask for things multiple times.

I have visited this place years ago and I remember having a good experience and amazing interior . So this time I wanted to try Malaysian fusion food and decided to visit here again. It was Friday night and I was not expecting it to be so full. I entered our name in the waiting list, we were 8 people including 5 kids . The waiting list said 1 hour . We really wanted to dine hence planned to wait. The waiting time turned to be 1:30 minutes . I kept on asking about our turn but the lady started being rude , mind you we had 5 hungry kids. The people who came after us were seated . We saw that there were seats outside those were empty. But the lady was persistent that we need to wait more. Finally a manager came and assisted us and apologize us for the delay and mismanagement .The food was ok, not worth the wait. We ordered Char keow teo, tangerine chicken , Kung pao chicken and Roti canai. The char keow teo was not what I was expecting it to be . Will I be visiting again? I might not. I am a big supporter of halal eateries but was disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Halal

This recent visit to Belacan Grill was my first time exploring Malaysian cuisine. The food, bursting with flavor and strikingly similar to Kerala Indian cuisine, surprised me.The star of the show was the curry chicken is so much similar to Kerala chicken curry. The roti had the texture and taste of Malabar Parota. Namak mee goreng reminded me of Indian Hakka noodles, while the curry puffs, with a savory potato sabji filling, was a twist to familiar samosa. The murtabak, had its resemblance to Kerala dish beef chatti pathiri. Fried Banans with coconut icecream were the perfect ending to the meal, reminded me of the Pazham Puri from Kerala.Visited this place twice in two weeks amd I'm tempted to give Indian restaurants a break for a while, simply because the food at this restaurant taste so much better.Highly recommended! However, be prepared to make a reservation as the wait time can easily reach an hour.Must try: Roti, Murtabak, and Curry Chicken

We had to wait around 30 mins to be seated because we came on a busy time on a Sunday, the food was really tasty, we ordered the Roti, crab Rangoon, the kankong (I did garlic sauce though the popular one is the spicy shrimp paste), and the Belacan Fried rice, for all 4 dishes with no drinks was $50. All dishes were very tasty and the environment very cozy.

Wow, the food at Belacan is so tasty!! It’s no wonder there were people waiting as soon as they opened. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and were seated within 20 minutes or so.We ordered:• Teh ais (iced milk tea)• Roti canai• Fish Fillet with house chili tamarind sauce• Kankung (morning glory stir fried veggies)• Beef rendang• Malaysian curry chickenWe loved all the dishes and the service was excellent. Our water was constantly refilled and our table was checked on. I would definitely recommend this spot and come back!

service can be a little slow. food is great reminiscent of Malaysia mamak food.Vegetarian options: there are limited vegetarian dishes. you'll want to check with the waiter to be certain unless you're familiar with the dishes.
The last time we came here was 10 years and this plaza has expanded and doing very well now. Great menu selection and excellent customer service. The roti prata is great and satay was acceptable.

Front rank of atmosphere for party with friends. The food is amazing in quantity, but the real Malaysian flavor or not depends on what you order. For example, the curry chicken I ordered is 100 percent genuine as the Malaysian flavor standard. But, Shrimp sauce water spinach is a little bit spicy even I can eat spicy food very well. The sambal shrimp had a flavor of sour sweet. Nevertheless, the restaurant reserves a visit.

I've been going to this restaurant for a while now. Sometimes the food is great and mediocre at other times. Waiting staff is certainly below standard. They don't know how to handle a bigger party. The only reason we visit this place because of halal options. Ample parking is available. Just like all restaurants, they have bumped up the prices, which is ok except you find alot more veggies in the dish, meat is scanty.

This is it!! As a Malaysian, I can say that their food are considered very authentic. Top two Malaysian food I had tried in the USA (I like to look for Malaysian food when I go to a new city). I am really glad that this is only 1.5 hrs away from my home. Wat Tan hot, Laksa, mamak mee goreng and of course roti canai!! Wonderful atmosphere and service on top of that. We asked and learned that the chef is from Ipoh (food city in Malaysia), no wonder!! Highly recommend!
