The staff are incredibly kind, one time, they even let us choose the color of frosting and the type of sprinkles we could get. The cupcakes there are so amazing, totally blew my mind ?. Sprinkles are so creative and very beautiful. Would recommend without hesitation.

My friend ordered A chili cheese dog. I ordered the taco dog. Both hotdogs were amazingly delicious. The hotdog itself was split down the middle and fried on a flat top. The bun is also grilled on the flat top. The ingredients they use are top shelf. I would go back and order either one of the hotdogs again. The menu looks amazing. The bakery items look magical. I saw a three layer holiday cake. One layer was red, one layer was white, and one layer was green. In between the layers was buttercream frosting. My friend adored the sugar cookie that was decorated. My favorite was the Reese's pieces cookie. You have to try this hidden gem!

Ordered dessert for a dinosaur tea party themed birthday. Delicious! Ordered scones with berry jam and fresh cream, the most decadent brownies, and cupcakes with dinosaur sprinkles. Also ordered a salad, kids sandwiches, and nachos. Everything was good, as always. Portions for salad, nachos, and brownies are huge and very tasty. A lot of love (and butter and sugar) goes into everything from this cafe. The cafe is small but the food is wonderful.

The 3 layer carrot cake that we enjoyed for my husbands birthday party was as delicious as it was visually stunning. We also devoured several dozen snickerdoodle cookies. I *highly* recommend using this sweet shop for your next event. Simply the best!!

We did our daughter’s birthday party here and it was a blast for the kids! There is ample parking and the cafe sits right on the playground which serves as entertainment and a beautiful background for photos! The staff and owner are great and brought it on party day. We love their food and definitely recommend Best of Friends Cafe for a birthday party or a casual lunch spot while at the park. Thanks Best of Friends Cafe for making our daughter’s birthday party such a hit!

We ordered a tuna sandwich and a turkey avocado sandwich. They were pretty good! We ordered a vanilla cupcake and it was a little too sweet for us but their cupcake designs looked pretty. Maybe we can order their cupcakes for events.
10 STARS!!! (if that were possible). We had marble cake with chocolate mousse filling (and chocolate chips!!) and whipped-cream frosting for our wedding cake. People literally screamed out loud it was SOOOO good! You know how you're supposed to save a piece for your 1st anniversary? N.O.P.E! We ate it all! AND - they made our sandwiches, salads (potato, Caesar and green), chocolate chip cookies and brownies for the rehearsal dinner pool party. Everything was A W E S O M E! (Kathy was a doll to work with, too!)

Great sandwiches and pastries in a park with plenty of outdoor seating and friendly fast service. Wish we had found this sooner! The Thanksgiving sandwich is better than homemade. Great balance of Turkey, sweet potato, stuffing and lettuce. A huge meal, or eat half and treat yourself to a slice of cake. We tried the pumpkin cake, and it was rich, spicy and not overly sweet.

There's not much more I can add to what's already been said of Best of Friends Cafe, located in Tustin Sports Park. It's a local hidden gem. The staff always greets you with a smile, the cakes they offer are amazing and sold by the slice for about $7 each and it's a huge slice (the german chocolate is my favorite and it's only offered once in a while, thank goodness), and the custom cakes are moist and delicious (we've ordered two of them for birthdays). I stop by once in a while to buy a slice of cake to treat myself, but we've gotten random snacks from there like slushees and such when we're at the playground. There are tables outside and the menu is pretty extensive, although I've never had a meal there. They have an entire wall of sprinkles that makes you stare up in awe, and when you order a custom cake, they will take their time to discuss what you want and you can show them examples. The cakes are so moist and ours have lasted in the fridge for at least a week (we like to nibble our way and savor them, lol). Check it out and support a local, small business!
