Place is closed. I was bummed out after scouring for baked goods on yelp. It'd be helpful if it was announced on their website.

Stumbled on this place on a Friday evening-- it's honestly pretty hidden, especially as many of the businesses around it are now out of business and closed. We got an earl grey cookie and a black sesame white chocolate chip cookie, and they offered to heat them up for us, which was greatly appreciated. These cookies are much more cake-like than your typical chewy cookie, so keep that in mind. The earl grey was unfortunately pretty dry, but the flavor was nicely subtle. I think it could do better with a bit more icing. The black sesame one was fantastic--it melted in my mouth. The balance between the bitter black sesame and the cloyingly sweet white chocolate was perfect. These cookies are a steep price, but they offer a lot of unique flavors that you can't find anywhere else. If you're in the area and craving something sweet, I recommend this place.

What a delicious find! One of the last businesses inside The Union Market at The District. This area is actually closing, and all but about 4 shops have moved. The rest will be out by next month. Braga is a little mom & pop bakery with lots of unique cakes, cookies and macaroons using all organic ingredients. Once they move they'll still be in business making desserts to order with pick up available out of their nearby home. Follow them on IG at braga_baker and place your orders there. I will be! The Ube cake was my favorite of the 3 we got. It was such a light & layered slice with a sweet but not too sweet whipped icing. We also got the pistachio cake and it was just as good. I had already planned on getting 2 desserts, when the owner offered us a free cake if we bought two. We picked out the red bean black sesame & Matcha topped cake as our free one and it was very interesting tasting. My boyfriend really liked it, but I just wanted to eat the delicious Ube. My next friends birthday cake will definitely be purchased here. I'm already looking at all the big cake options...and one of them is Ube, but the blueberry yogurt cake sounds so good too!

I was drawn to this bakery's unique-flavored desserts: ube, black sesame, injeolmi, milk tea, etc. As a huge fan of black-sesame flavored desserts, I knew I had to give it a shot! I tried the following: - black sesame cookie - black sesame cake slice - milk tea cake slice - creme brulee crepe cake slice Out of what I tried, my favorites were the milk tea cake (slight black sugar flavor) & the black sesame cake (style was a little similar to a cheesecake with some red bean filling & a crumbly base). None of the desserts were too sweet so that's a win for me since I don't have a sweet tooth. The creme brulee crepe cake had delicious flavor, but as with most crepe cakes, I thought it had too much cream. The black sesame cookie was a bit plain, but it paired really well as a tea time cookie & again, was not very sweet. Overall, I'll be back to try more items on their menu when I'm in the area!

Walked by this dessert place, and there were so many delicious options: cookies, macarons, and cakes. I was craving a warm, gooey cookie, and the dark chocolate hazelnut cookie caught my eye. The cashier asked me if I would like the cookie warmed up, so of course I said yes! It was nice of him to heat the cookie up for me so I wouldn't have to wait until I got home to gobble the cookie down. The cookie was so thick, that I expected it to be chocolatey and gooey. However, the first 6 ish bites were very disappointing and flavorless. It was dry and powdery instead of the rich, gooey texture I was craving. When I got to the middle-end of the cookie, there was a chocolate filling, and THAT was scrumptious. The chocolate filling made the cookie sweeter and gooier. Overall, the parts of the cookie that didn't have the chocolate filling made the cookie below average; however, the chocolate filling later on in the cookie satisfied my cravings. I also think the cookie tasted a little burnt in some parts cuz I think the cashier left the cookie in the microwave too long.... I probably wouldn't come back for the cookies here...

Enjoyed the macarons in mid-July! Very distinct buttery taste of the macarons, and of the icing. The ube cake was interesting but not exactly our thing. Their Instagram page says that the store will close 8/31, but then you can send a DM to order.

The sweetest lady who probably upgrades our orders and refuses tips too much haha! Her cakes are amazing and innovative, and anything with fresh cream is my favorite. Successfully ordered my birthday cake (blueberry yogurt) here and had a great time!

Devastated I only discovered this bakery shortly before they're going to close this shop! Their cookies are unique n' tough-to-find flavors, their puddings are rich and delicious, and their macarons are some of the best I've ever had. The owners are so charming and friendly, too. They mentioned their bakery would exist as an online shop once they close, so even if they don't have a physical storefront anymore, I'm relieved their baked goods will still be available, because everyone should give them a try!

Really like their cream brûlée crepes cake, even though a little pricey but really delicious, not too sweet!

OMG! Not only do they have the best macaroons in the world but I think this is our favorite dessert of all time. Can’t stop eating the macaroons!’

OMG ! The macarons here are by far the absolute best we have ever tasted! We got the pistachio, crème brûlée, raspberry, orange, French chocolate and they all melted in our mouths. Unbelievable! They are homemade and ok we actually bought a dozen!! I want more.

Worst dessert ever. No flavor no sugar no vanilla not even oil to make cakes moist!! U truly believe they need. New pasty chef and I say it from experience. I also travel Round the states and try all sorts of desserts and I can honestly say this was by far the worst place ever in flavor but employees where super sweet. I can say they decorate them nice but that is it. I'll never go back.

Background On Visit: As I was walking through Union Market to go to the restroom, I saw this drink poster that peaked my interest. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Location: Located at the quiet side of the Union Market. Service: Service was good. The owners were friendly and attentive. Drink Of Choice: I ended up getting two lemonade's. One pink and the other one was blue. Couldn't really taste the difference between them 2, but all I know was that it was quite refreshing and had nice coloring to the drink. It was also carbonated and wasn't made out of artificial coloring. Bakery Shop For Thought: Definitely getting it again! Plus, I hope the shop still stays in business. *crosses fingers*
