Primarily a place to get pastries 🍰 😎 to go, it can get quite busy with the line extending out the front door and onto the sidewalk (be sure to keep the door closed or they will remind you 😀).
Luckily, the line goes right by their selection of freshly baked goods 👌🏻. The strawberry 🍓 cream croissant is a great choice. Be sure to get everything you want before you leave the line as there really isn't much help after your purchase. They are on to the next guest to keep the line moving.
No indoor seating but some metal tables and chairs on their outdoor patio. Your view is of a neighborhood street and El Camino Real.
Pastries were good but highly recommended to get your favorites to go.
Enjoy!

A must visit for us on the way to Riverside.
We arrived around 11am on a Sunday morning. There is a small line but moved fast.
Friendly and fast services.
We sat outside to enjoy some pastries and got some to go. Our favorites: strawberry croissant and tiger cheese!

A must-order for me every single time. Everything about it is perfectly balanced—the custard cream has just the right sweetness and amount, and the ratio of pastry to strawberries is spot on.
The only real risk is accidentally eating way too many in one sitting.
Will I come back?
Absolutely. This is a regular repeat purchase for me.

Cream Pan offers great pastries, but the Tustin location has AWFUL customer service. The amount of profit they are earning, a good business owner would think to invest in training their team with BASIC customer service and updating their store for improved efficiency.
Today is Christmas Eve, which is a busy day due to the holidays. On top of that, it was raining. I called to inquire about the strawberry croissant and the wait time. The first person that answered didn’t let me finish asking the question and hung up. I had to call back and ask my second question. The second person that answered informed me the line was about 25-30 minutes. But did not mention that once you get to the front of the line, there would be another 30 minutes wait.
First off, being busy does not excuse anyone for being rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. That is basic manners and customer service.
I ordered the strawberry croissant in (14) count and (6) count. The only guy working, Alex, at the register was awful. Alex was overwhelmed and could not keep the order straight and began to hand out orders out of sequence. When I inquired on the status of my (14) count and (6) count order, Alex didn’t even look me in the eye and was dismissive. His response was because they order (25) and (34) counts and walked off, leaving the register unattended.
It’s the exact same pastry. But people who ordered more were able to get their orders first? How does that make sense. That tells you there is no order to their system. They should be packaging per order to be fair to ALL customers that waited in the same line.
Five people ahead of me got their orders. I asked again and another lady came back with very rude responses and said they are busy in the back due to the holidays. Again, that is not an excuse for being rude and dismissive. How is it ok for staff members to be rude to a paying customer that has been waiting and seeing other larger orders get their orders out of sequence.
Very disappointed with the experience today.
I worked in customer service for many years and as a manager, I understand how some customers can be. But I wasn’t demanding, I wasn’t rude. I inquired in the reason why orders of the same item was handed out of sequence, and was met with rudeness and dismissive attitude.
I do like Cream Pan. However, the customer service experience matters just as much as the food. It’s the experience that makes people want to return, and if it starts to feel disrespectful or dismissive, it’s not a business I would want to continue to support.
Cream Pan owners need to reevaluate their business and train their staff to treat customers with basic courtesy.

I love this place! My parents have been going here for about 40 years! Sadly I came to pick up some of their yummy strawberry croissants and the person helping me with my order tossed the croissants into the container upside-down, sideways and every which way. Looks like she put them into the container then shook it. Such great products only to be ruined by poor presentation and service. These were a gift for my coworker and I will rearrange them before handing them off. I am japanese like the owners and presentation and service matter just as much as the product.

Service is horrible. One of those places that are so popular they know they’ll still get enough customers even if they give people attitude.
The staffs are always talking among each other and skipping customers when you try to order. I called once to ask about cake reservation and got hung up three time. One time told to “hold” and the staff simply just vanished.
The cream pans and cake slices are great but pricey. The breads in the glass case are often dry. The strawberry croissants are overpriced for the amount of cream and strawberries you get.

We drove by and had to stop as we saw a line outside. Cute Japanese style bakery with delicious egg salad sandwiches, chicken Katsu, strawberry croissants and coffee. Their bakery offering looked outstanding so we got a few different items all were great! Noticed that the chicken had MSG in it but otherwise their baked goods have no preservatives
