Very nice store in Tustin. They just have ice cream.
I absolutely love Blizzards and go to Dairy Queens all the time. Unfortunately I’ve had mixed experiences with this location. The main issue is they are critically understaffed (think 2 employees for 15-25 customers).
Because of the understaffing, they are always in a rush and ooften make my Blizzard incorrectly (like, 40% of the time). And one time it happened, I let one of the employees know so I could get it re-made. That employee happened to be a manager/owner, and they flat out refused to remake it for me. They claimed because my receipt said it correctly (they took my order wrong), that they were unable to make it the way I actually ordered it.
The Mexican woman working as the cashier was impolite/clueless —no smile, no greeting, and unable to answer basic questions. Meanwhile, the Asian woman (likely the manager or owner) was whispering to her right in front of us while we were trying to ask questions.
This manager then said they don’t participate in nationwide brand promotions, quote “they’re a franchise”, which aligns with many of the previous negative reviews here.
Of course. While the entire country is celebrating veterans and the rest of DQ’s branches are doing something for veterans. Obviously She cares less about what veterans have done to this country where she came for her own American dreams. 💰
Drink was OK. The place was a little bit messy with table stacked in the corner in the restroom
Love their butter fingers blizzard
Great place for the family to enjoy
I had a bad experience at this location. My partner and I lined up at 9pm to get a free cone. (Today was “get a free cone day” so rightfully there was a HUGE line in front of the store, at least 30 people. On the DQ website, it says “some DQ stores in mall locations may require additional purchase for a free cone”. The DQ location we went to WAS NOT in a mall. So we waited 15 minutes in line and when we got to the cash register, we saw a tiny sign that says “we do not participate in free cone day”. We felt really deceived. We wasted all this time being in line and so we decided to just buy a small cone. A few minutes later, at 9:50pm, (10 mins before closing), a DQ worker announced to everyone in line that they were not participating in the “free cone day”, and immediately half the people in line left. The employees chose not to announce it earlier because they simply wanted more sales.
Bad costumer service! The cashier got my ice cream wrong I asked if can pls give me what I ask for and she just gave me a side cup with the mms, I ask if she could add them and blend it, just ignored me start talking about me to the other employees and ignored me!
The worst location I've ever had. Service is terrible and the ice cream just doesn't hit the spot like other locations
Does not participate in DQ free cone day.
