Im from Northern California and came for brunk before Disneyland. Not only the buffet was delicious. But the service from Rito was fantastic. Making me feel right at home and like family. Definitely would recommend this place because of Rito and his outstanding service!

Haven't been here, for their brunch, in a long time. The brunch was good, but not as good as I remember! Maybe I was trying to be a little nostalgic. Carnitas and pastor were fantastic. Everything else was is what I rated! However, the service was excellent, right from the Host to the server to the cook, who made specialty ordered eggs!! A good selection of fruits and desserts. Was it worth $40? if you drink at least 5 mimosas it is!!! Which I did!! All and all, you have to try it out! It's a great occasional thing to do!
Hadn't been to El Torito for many years, decided to try it again. Very impressed with the menu selection, drinks, food and service — and prices were very reasonable. Enjoyed our time in the restaurant.
Made reservations to try their buffet on Father's Day. But when we arrived, they did not have a table for us. The restaurant was packed and buffet lines long. People were waiting outside as well. After waiting 15 minutes for a table we left. It was disappointing.
We had our reservation for 3 weeks ahead of time. When we arrived 15 minutes early they were behind by 1hour seating reservation. Aside from being under staffed the servers that were working were more than pleasant and tried their best to keep up. Food was good and pricing was average
Restaurant Not prepared for the Father's Day Rush. Hostess seemed overwhelmed. Food and utensils were not replenished. I had to ask for the items. The poor cook doing the omelets was doing his best to keep up. On a positive note our server was awesome and on it. Did not get his name but he was working the back area where the patio is around 11am.
El Torito Sunday brunch is back and better than ever in Tustin! Upon arriving we received a sincere and warm welcome by Anna and Oscar. They pointed out all the freshly made dishes, warm and cold beverages and customized taco and omelette bar. Upon being seated a plate of scrumptious churro pancakes were placed on our table to share. Amazing! Our servers continued the friendly service by bringing us hot coffee and delicious tropical iced tea. It's been years (pre-Covid) since we've experienced such a wonderful Sunday brunch. Food and drinks were plentiful, fresh and delicious and staff so kind, felt right at home. We plan to make this our Sunday tradition. Thank you El Torito Tustin for bringing back Sunday brunch in the best possible way. I'm your newest, biggest fan!
Reservations for 1345. Arrived at 1330 to check in. Long line not moving. Finally went to desk inside to check in at 1345. Was told to wait for a few minutes. Resteraunt sat two large groups ahead of us that had a 1400 reservation. Finally at 1410 received a text stating that our table is ready. So I checked in again and we waited till 1430 till we were given a table. We all decided on the Brunch. No plates available for 10 minutes and we were given plastic forks and knife. Food was average. We won't be back...
In short wait was an hour. We offered to have a disabled person sit with us as she had been waiting longer than us. Food was cold. Server brought our drinks 35 min after we order. You couldn't walk to get food as the front was crowded. When it came time for us to pay our guest (the handicap lady) was giving her credit card to the waitress, I had my bill for my mom and I and handed it to her. She said this isn't yours, you got it from someone else. I said no, it's for my mom and I. Our table guest told her that we were nice enough to let her sit with us. The waitress just walked away, not apologizing to me for telling me I had switched tickets. It was absolutely terrible! Expensive and I owe my mom a better brunch
I am very sad that my special day as a mother was ruined by poor planning on this establishment. I made a reservation for 1 it was my gift to me for mother's day as my only living child is too far away. My daughter who passed , we always came to El torito for mothers day. However there was no organization there were two lines one for reservation and one for walk in. I am also mobility challenged using a cane. When I made it to the desk they told me to wait while they find a table, it had already been an hour wait but then another 20 min they came back and said we do not have a table for you. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. the only save was two women offered for me to sit with them . My reservation was for 12:15 we sat at 1:20 which also meant not much time to eat. I did not have ample time to get hardly any food one cheese enchiladas and two carnitas tacos and a flan. For $45.00 it also took almost the whole meal before I got the glass of iced tea inordered as I sat. I have always loved El torito but I won't do that again totally not worth the time or money.

Waited 1 hour for brunch with reservations. It was Mother's Day, but they did a poor job managing their reservations and walk ins. You could barely walk inside which made it challenging to access the buffets. They did not replenish food fast enough to meet the needs to the crowd. I would not go back.
I will not return to this restaurant. I made my Mother's Day reservations in April. I got to the restaurant 15 minutes before my reservation. There was a line out the door and starting to wrap the building when I checked in for my reservations they said they were just starting to see the 1030 reservations reservation was for 1130 so they were already an hour behind. It was very poorly organized, and whoever was in charge screwed the whole thing up I canceled my reservation there because I'm not gonna wait an hour past my reservation for a reservation that I made a month a month previously. Way to go to ruin our Mother's Day since all other restaurants are already booked
We went there for a Mother's Day brunch. Had a reservation for 11 AM didn't get seated to at least 11:30 AM. The place was a zoo. Our waiter did a fantastic job considering the circumstances. However, the zoo at the front door made it so that we probably won't book another Mother's Day brunch at El Torito. The best part of the food were the pancakes, which was kind of hard to believe. The champagne was unlimited, so we made mimosas out of them and had a great time consuming them.
Breakfast for only $8 each! What a deal! 🤑
Terrible. Made reservations at 1:45 checked in at 1:15 checked in again at 1:45 and they never called us. Completely overbooked for Easter. It was chaos. No apology never told us they weren't going to seat us. Simply ignored and hoped we would go away. We were there to celebrate a 30th birthday too and they blew it. Management at the Tustin location should be embarrassed. We were not the only ones who were waiting and were ignored. Get it together El Torito.
