All-you-can-eat AYCE. Came here for Christmas lunch and had a good experience. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. We ordered from the dinner menu, and the galbi and beef bulgogi were the highlights. I appreciated how proactive the servers were with changing our grill at regular intervals. It’s a good selection for the price. The only downside was the restroom. There was a very intense smell even before entering the door.

Kyle is an absolute standout server! We’ve been to Gen Korean BBQ multiple times, and we’ve consistently had fantastic service from him every single visit. He’s attentive, friendly, quick with orders and grill changes, and always makes the experience even more enjoyable. He truly elevates the whole meal!

Last night, our large family of 30 people had an unforgettable dining experience at Gen—the perfect way to wrap up the year.
Despite our large group, the service was exceptional. The staff checked on us proactively, helped us with menu recommendations, and even showed us how to enjoy each item at its best. Hands down, this was the best service we’ve ever received at Gen.
The quality of the meat was outstanding—so good that we honestly forgot we were at an AYCE BBQ. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations.
Highly recommend Gen for large groups, family gatherings, and year-end or holiday celebrations!

I've been to many Korean BBQ places, first time at GEN. Place was packed and servers were trying their best to take care of everyone. The food was just average, not the meat quality and seasoning I expected at this price point . I will give it another try.

This isn't the best location I have been to. Not exactly the cleanest. Had to request a menu vs. using a QR code. Loud rap music was obviously the staff's choice.
Not a single korean in sight. The food was average, most of the meat was low quality, and all of the sauce tasted like it came straight from the supermarket. When we came in, we all stepped in grease on the floor and nearly slipped. The dining room was too loud, and often filled with smoke.

A solid choice that's not anything premium amongst the AYCE KBBQ greats of LA but at under 30 bucks, it usually delivers. If you're tryna pig out after a big workout or run and wanna just get six or seven.. orders brisket or bulgogi then cant go wrong with gen.
if you think you're down for ayce lunch then its not a bad deal either.
the wait is LONGGGG almost every day for dinner and if its the weekend just be prepared to wait like 2 hours lol.
service is usually top notch especially considering how busy they get so servers always coming around and making sure you got everything you need.
