Great experience. Tiki Bar vibes with a very extensive rum menu. Reasonably priced food and drinks.

Starting our Tiki Christmas tradition here. Got here early (4:30), without a reservation and was told by the host that we needed to be seated at the bar because those with reservations would start coming in. When asked if we could be seated at a table we were told it would be for a “limited time.”
We started with Mai Tai’s and ordered food right away. The Mai Tai was just good and not necessarily “boozy.” I got the Locals Only plate with grilled chicken. My wife got the Tiki Tenders. They were both very tasty and we were pleasantly surprised. Next I ordered a Blue Hawaiian and WOW! Very tasty!
Overall we had a good experience but disappointed that we could have had a table in a corner that sat empty the duration of our visit.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant on Wednesday. Two different servers displayed poor attitudes, which made the visit uncomfortable. The bartender, wearing an unprofessional outfit, even gave us an intimidating stare.

To add to the frustration, the drinks we received were not properly made—filled only half way, overloaded with ice, and garnished excessively to mask the issue.

As a business owner myself, I understand how critical customer experience is, and I can only assume the owner is unaware of how the staff is treating guests. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this in hopes that improvements are made.

This place is such a rare find! I couldn’t believe how well the drinks were made. Nothing was overly sweet or too strong. The bartender was so attentive and welcoming as soon as we walked in. Highly recommend the $10 happy hour Mai Tai. Also ordered the miso chicken skewers and onion rings. All tasted great.

Vegetarian options: Offered various tofu options and a vegan salad

Stowaway is a hidden gem in Tustin, a Hawaiian-inspired speakeasy bar that feels like stepping into a magical, tropical getaway. From the outside, it seems unassuming, but once you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, dreamy lighting, bamboo decor, thatched roofs, and tropical elements that create a laid-back, vacation-like vibe.

The cocktails here are the true highlight—each one is thoughtfully designed and full of personality. From the playful monkey-shaped mugs to drinks adorned with lanterns, every cocktail is a delightful surprise and perfect for snapping Instagram-worthy photos. The flavors don’t disappoint either; their signature rum-based cocktails are a fantastic mix of fruity and boozy, with layers of flavor that keep you coming back for more.

What I love most are the small details, like the fire-topped cocktails and the creative drinkware, which make the experience feel extra special. Whether you’re out with friends or looking to unwind on your own, Stowaway offers a unique escape from the everyday hustle. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, and every sip feels like a tiny vacation.

Parking is absolutely unavailable ... I guess Uber it. Management needs to tow the cars that obviously have been there for a long time. Reduced to 1 star from the flip response from management. The parking situation is definitely in scope for a review and your future customers will appreciate to know that there are issues. Will not return. Thanks and I wish you well!

Came in for brunch. They offer a brunch selection but also the rest of their menu. We had a mix of vegetarian, a picky one, and a health nerd in our bunch, and we found the menu to be super diverse and SO DELICIOUS! We had a chicken curry that was cooked perfectly and that curry sauce was YUM! Impossible eat Loco Moco that she was excited to try, also delicious. Fried Crispy tofu that was a sweet orange like sauce. Braised pork and gravy fried that were topped with an egg. It was the right amount of richness without feeling too heavy. The pineapple fried rice was nice and light. The drinks were spot on! Not too sweet and strong enough. To top it off THEY HAD A FREAKING MAGICIAN 🎩 it was so cool 😁 We visit orange county frequently from Las Vegas and will be back to this place!

After a visit to their speakeasy, we came here and had a much better experience. The ambiance is super chill, and the service was fantastic.

For food, we tried the Stowaway fries, Spam Spam nachos, coconut shrimp, and katsu kare. The fries and shrimp were solid--crispy and flavorful. However, the Spam in the nachos was hard to taste, and while the toppings were generous, the guacamole made the chips soggy pretty quickly. The katsu kare was decent, but for the price, I was expecting a slightly bigger portion.

The drinks were fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was perfect for a night out. Definitely recommend Stowaway if you're in the area!
