I recently dined at Masala Bae after a long gap — my last visit was a few years ago and had only been delivery until now. This time we ate in, and overall it was a good experience.
We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Bhel Puri, Mysore Masala Dosa, lemonade, and Mango Lassi. The portion sizes were very generous, which I appreciated (leftovers are always a plus). The Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and well made, though there was a slight flavor — possibly hing — that I personally don’t enjoy. Otherwise, it was solid. The Bhel Puri was perfect and tasted great.
The Mysore Masala Dosa was a bit too spicy for me, so I’ll try something else next time. The lemonade tasted just like Limca, and the Mango Lassi was decent.
Customer service was excellent — everyone was kind and welcoming. One heads-up: the food does take a while to be served, so plan accordingly.

An amazing Indian buffet place. My friends love coming back to it every month. The options are diverse for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I love their baingan (eggplant) dish in buffet the most as I am vegetarian. The quality and taste is also amazing of all the dishes. I think their chai is best in OC.

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in the U.S. so far. Everything is absolutely delicious — the food, drinks, desserts, and the fresh naan. The people working here are genuinely welcoming, kind, and attentive. I’ve been here at least 20 times already and will keep coming back whenever I can. I’m very happy I found this place. It’s truly hard to find restaurants these days that maintain such high standards in every detail. Wishing you all the best with your business.

i have been here numerous times whenever i crave indian food... they were on the rich side but were fresh and clean. My only bad experience was last time, about 2 month ago ( oct 2025) that i had minor food poinsoning reaponse a few hours after eating from the restaurant. no food before or after... I don't know what was that, but wish them find out and correct it because i still wish to be able to go back...
This is not an Indian Restaurant . It's a Paxtani Restaurant , don't eat here . Food is oily and they Reuse the Oil several times which is unhealthy and dangerous for health, will give you a Heart Attack or other Neurological Problems

Originally came here with a team from work and was really impressed. Brought my husband here today and it was just as excellent as I had remembered! Very good selection of food in the buffet. Garlic naan, mango lassi, chai tea also included in the lunch buffet. The food was flavorful and delicious. We tried a little of everything and the host was very attentive. Dishes were marked clearly (nuts noted if you have a nut allergy). Dessert dishes also included. Will definitely be back again!
