Kéan Coffee Artisan Roasters

Traveling for work and always looking for a local coffee shop to give business to. Kéan stood out with good reviews and a nice looking food menu.

The one surprise that I didn’t see on my initial glance of their menu was that they do not have any dairy milk and only offer soy, almond, and oat milk. Not a huge deal, as I just switched to an Americano.

The quiche was absolutely amazing and I’ll be thinking about it for days. The espresso had a nice flavor as well for someone who drinks it black.

Kean is one of my go to coffee spots. Always consistent coffee and a lot of variety to choose from for home brewing. Decent food selection (love their quiche) A genuinely friendly staff rounds everything out.

This review is specific to this location. On weekdays the mocha is especially delicious, BUT on busy weekend mornings the baristas *cut corner* - mocha is bland and there's no latte art (which is usually beautiful and still present on busy weekends at the other location). I really hope the store can maintain quality because I believe their drinks are inherently fantastic.

​This cafe has a wonderful European style (or at least, what I imagine it to be!).

I tried the Espresso Con Panna Doppio, a Honey Vanilla Latte, and the Cranberry Orange Scone. Everything—the coffee and the pastry—was good enough to easily earn five stars.

​It’s clear they focus on quality control; even their whole bean coffee shows fresh roasting dates (all less than a week old).

The mood and service are friendly and genuinely caring. This cafe offers the total package for a great experience. I appreciate having such a high-quality spot here!

Ordered a red eye for a long night ahead, you can tell they roast their own beans regularly because the espresso was fresh and very flavorful. Going back to try more of the menu

I tried the cold brew and the banana muffin. Overall service was great, friendly and attentive staff. The interior is nice but it can get noisy as it fills up. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Prices are comparable to most places nearby.

I love Kean’s … been coming here for over a decade. Having moved out of the area, I make sure to hit it every time I’m back in town. The Tustin location is the original and, for me, the best, with its unique interior, very friendly staff & comfy vibe. And the coffee is the freshest you’ll find anywhere … roasted on-site, never burned like a ubiquitous coffee house I won’t mention. And if you love a great mocha as I do, Kean’s will spoil you for any other … smooth as silk and designed with a little kick. Classic rock playing softly so you can seat-dance and have a conversation at the same time. You’ll love this place.

Everything about my time here was great! The pour-over Huehuetengo was excellent, and the morning bun was an absolute perfect match for it. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and open, and the layout offered a somewhat corporate feel, while remaining cozy & intimate. The kind of place you're likely to strike up conversations with perfect strangers (although I didn't). It's definitely a place I will return to, when back in the area!
