Seriously the BEST taquitos and THE BEST FISH TACOS EVER !!! Honestly , the red salsa and guacamole are so good on the taquitos. Simple but super delicious. Their horchata is always on point and delicious. And their fish tacos are literally the BEST in OC . The best I’ve ever had honestly. Definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this place!!! After Taco Mesa raised their price on my lobster burrito significantly we found this place. Los Cotijas became my new favorite! This place is a taco shop kind of place and isn’t the fancy restaurant. Their shrimp taco isn’t street taco size - it’s large! A one shrimp taco has 5 thumb size shrimps and very satisfying. Two shrimp tacos fill me up. It’s less than $15 compared to Taco Mesa’s lobster burrito now $35 😬
I’m not a cheap food seeker but value seeker. Los Cotijas food definitely match value to price or exceed.

We picked up burritos while at my kids’ lacrosse games near by and they were delicious! It is the California burrito I wanted for years while we lived in Japan. I wish yall had a location in San Clemente.

Wow!! Finest fish tacos I’ve ever eaten,, ,,no kidding, this is it, their menu is vast. I had 2 fish tacos and side of beans. Unbelievable in many ways, the tacos were “ weighty” as well as being deeeelicious. Beans were exceptional in taste and were somewhat runny, like I like them.
Small portions for the price, but the food is freshly made.

Neither disappointed especially the sauces used ahead of the salsa. Salsa packs on point and beans and rice made everything really nice in delivering authentic flavor.
Hit this spot up and you won’t walk out unhappy. Can’t wait to get back and dive into that menu.

Los Cotijas is easily missable inside the shopping center, but I decided to stop by today. Extremely clean inside, very welcoming service. Was greeted by the guy up front and held a conversation. Had to try the Fish Taco and had a Carne Asada as well. And boy can I tell you it was the best fish taco I ever had. The asada was extremely good too, but the fish was just everything you want in a fish taco. I had the 2 taco combo plate and you can tell right off the bat, the beans are homemade, the rice is homemade, even the chips. I very much enjoyed my experience here so much I told them I would leave a review. Will definitely be back!

Yikes- fish tacos were greasy and rice/beans were so dry. Whoever is writing good reviews for this shop needs to get out more. If you live in Orange County, there are a ton of authentic taco shops you can find- just not this one. Oh yeah, no
