The Tustin location has introduced a new dish, after seeing it on Instagram, I couldn't resist giving it a try!Initially, I was concerned that the crispy skin might make the chicken dry, but my worries were quickly dispelled with the first bite—it was incredibly juicy!Of course, I couldn't resist ordering dumplings as well. For me, dumplings are the epitome of Chinese cuisine, so I make sure to order them every time I visit.

Great service and atmosphere. The food is not necessarily authentic, but it tastes great. The food portion is huge.

If you happen to have a humongous hankering for delicious Cornish Hen, this place got you. Other dishes I recommend are Shanghai Style Rice Cakes, Spicy Wontons, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, and surprisingly the Shrimp-Pork-Chive Dumplings.

Even several days later I still salivate on how delicious every plate my friends and I each ordered on a super busy Friday night. If you are totally understandably indecisive what to order, you gotta eat their famed Spicy Wontons (hopefully you can handle the hot), Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Shanghai Style Rice Cakes, Shrimp-Pork-Chive Dumplings, Walnut Shrimp, and their brand new Fried Cornish Hen. For that particular last item the salt on the side actually was unnecessary as the crispy pieces already were tasty on their own. And please keep in mind that super busy times don't guarantee absolute attentiveness, especially when there are so many yummies to choose from the menu. I'm super blessed OC has their Mama Lu's in their house!

Located inside a Chinese grocery store, odd. Had the juicy dumplings which were very tasty. Ordered to go, cashier was Mexican and didn't really speak English, pretty odd. Pricey for what it is. Won't make a special trip to go again, but if in the area and hankering for Chinese might stop by.

The good: I tried the xiao long bao (soup dumplings), wonton soup (with mushroom, carrots, bbq pork, fish, and cabbage), spicy wontons, har gow, and siu mai. The soup was milky and rich. The spicy wontons were my favorite. I liked the addition of peanuts and cilantro on top. The food came out in a timely manner. All of the staff members were attentive and helpful. They picked up stuff my baby and toddler threw on the ground and replenished our supply of napkins and thrown spoons/chopsticks. They took away plates that were finished. They gave kids cups with kids for the kids. You can buy frozen dumplings to bring home. There's plenty of parking. I ate the entire jar offered of julienned ginger. They also had soy sauce, vinegar (spelled wrong on the bottle) and chili oil on the table. The bad: The restaurant is spacious and looks like a former food court of the grocery store because of the 3 counters and the fact that you have to enter the grocery store to get to it. The interior is fancier but the entire vibe is pretty unique and strange. Not entirely bad but not necessarily nice either. If it weren't for its grocery store entrance I could imagine having a casual Asian wedding here with help of flowers and decor. The interesting: My husband and I spent $77 for the two of us (the kids basically ate nothing) but we ate a ton of food (probably enough for 3 people). You need to enter the market to enter the store. I've been to their Alhambra location which was much smaller and more popular for takeout.

Great food! We went around 4:30 before the rush and got seated right away. The food came out fresh and in a timely manner. There are both circle and square tables inside which u appreciate. One thing to note for other vegetarians: there ARE options however, most of their vegetable dishes also contain meat so ask before you order and adjust accordingly!

I had a wonderful experience here. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I ordered the beef broccoli with a side of rice and it turned out great. The texture was good and flavor was savory. I also got to try their Cornish hen and pork dumplings. The hen was crispy and juicy i would try that one if you visit.

I came by for dinner with some friends and the place was packed. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food came out relatively fast. I tried the juicy pork and shrimp dumplings in a chili sauce. The sauce was made with black vinegar and chili oil; it has a nice kick to it! The dumplings were definitely juiciness.I also tried the newest item which is the Cornish hen. It had a nice crispy skin and juicy tender meat. The dish came with dry seasoning on the side and lemon. The chicken was already flavored to perfection so you don't need that extra seasoning--a squeeze of lemon gave it a refreshing taste.I also got the fish fillet sautéed with baby bok choy; the sauce that came with it was delicious. The fish was nice and soft and the bok choy was cooked perfectly and still had a little crunchy to them. They refilled our drinks often and there was plenty of parking.
