Amazing customer service. The staff was so friendly and thoughtful, hard to find a place like that nowadays. The foot was also terrific!

I came into Whole Foods today to go shopping and noticed there was a Mendocino Farms in this location. It was my first time trying it. The manager Ilene was such a great help walking me through the menu. I got the Thai mango salad that she had on her name tag. It was phenomenal! I'm for sure coming back!

This is the single best Mendocino Farms I have ever been to. In 4 years of eating here the team continually workedtheir butts off to get food our quickly, efficiently, and with a friendly personality. From the team in the front and the smiles from Bella, Ivette, Gaby, Krysten and everyone else on the team. There has never been a bad interaction with them and they always do whatever they can to provide the best possible service. The kitchen has some noticeable cooks who are always there to deliver on quality! Lauro, Elisa, Selvin, and Tony have smiles that can brighten a dark room! In the night time there are 2 guys named Eduardo who are some of the fastest and most efficient I have ever seen! Then the managers there are always top notch, Ilene and Sheridan can run that show like no one else. Gotta do yourself a favor and get the Not So Fried Chicken with the BBQ sauce and add avocado (bacon too of you want to spring for the extra charge, totally worth it). The other one to order is the Turkey Focaccia, man that thing smack! Enough reading this review, go get some Mendo and introduce some HAPPY into your life!

A *sandwich* place with the *slowest* possible preparation time — i waited an hour, and even my delivery person waited half an hour to pick up the food. SHAMEFUL.

I was waiting to order at this sandwich shop, and just as it was my turn, a short, rude woman came up and cut in front of me to complain about her order. Instead of asking her to wait at the pickup counter or helping her separately, the cashier stopped taking new orders and started dealing with her issue for several minutes. I ended up standing there waiting without any acknowledgment or apology.
This kind of confusion shouldn’t happen if the store has clear procedures for handling complaints. The manager should train staff on how to separate order issues from new customers so everyone is treated fairly.

Mendocino Farms inside Whole Foods on Jamboree is convenient but not the best version of the chain. The setup is unique—tucked inside the market—but it feels less polished than stand-alone locations. The space is reasonably clean, but you can’t grab your own drinks. Water comes from a dispenser, and if you want ice, you have to ask. That small detail makes the experience feel limited compared to other spots. On my visit, I saw a staff member using their phone before and after handling food, which was discouraging. The rest of the staff were friendly enough, but overall, this location feels more like a quick stop if you’re already shopping at Whole Foods. Worth it only if you’re in the area or craving a Montecito, otherwise I’d stick to other branches.

Came into mendocino farms today, and I had a very good experience that new turkey sandwich is amazing. Shout out to Colin for coming to check on us and refilling our drinks when they got low. Can't wait to come back.

I’d love to rate this higher, but there’s now been 3 times in a row with problems. Two previous times I’ve ordered a salad to-go and gotten home, started eating it, only to find a hair in it… twice. Then ordered a salad again and this time they didn’t even include the two ingredients which I requested via the app, to be on the side. The bag says it was QA’d but clearly it wasn’t and I should’ve checked before I left.

Sandwich was yummy but a bit small for the price. Salad was good and the packaging was super cool.

Located in the Whole Foods so it was perfect to grab a drink while waiting for the food.

Love stopping here for lunch dates with friends or taking my kiddos. The food is delicious, fresh, and healthy. What more can you ask for! It’s also located conveniently near various fun shopping stores like TJ Maxx, Barnes and Nobles, Target, Costco, and my vice - Nothing Bundt Cakes. Some days the line is and wait is a little longer than usual but it’s worth it!

I rarely leave bad reviews but this experience warrants it. I ordered 2 sandwiches. Got them after waiting 45+ minutes…. That’s way too long. The banh mi sandwich was pretty good.
