I prefer their restaurant's not inside whole foods. This is a busy store. Wish all locations would wipe tables off more.
Ive been coming to this Mendocino Farms for years now and I've always gotten a great experience. The service is amazing and food is soooo good. My favorites are the thai mango salad and Peruvian steak sando. The manager Colin goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. I love that the staff comes and delivers your food at the bar. đ
Thanks Mendo!
Stopped there because I thought in and out or chick filet was going to take too long.
Ordered a sandwich and salad. No one was in line when I ordered. 40 min later I finally got my order. They should let you know that your fast food is going to take that long. What a waste of time.
Killer part is that I think they fired a girl right in front of me for getting someone else order slightly wrong? She left there crying letâs just say that. Makes you think they value customer service. Who would guess a minor mistake would get someone canned but a 40 min wait for take out is just normal
Just donât go here cause life is short and you donât want to spend it waiting for your fast food. And no, itâs not any healthier than McDonaldâs
Easy online ordering was ready on time. Great consistent food. Manager onsite was attentive and interactive with customers. Parking during lunch time is challenging. Nice shopping center
The food is always amazing. We came with a huge group and everyone loved what they ordered. The counter and dining room service was fantastic but the food came out slowly. This cafe is inside of Whole Foods so the atmosphere is bustling.
Iâve been a longtime fan of Mendocino Farms, and the food at this location is consistently great. However, the service leaves much to be desired. Iâve dined here multiple times, and the biggest frustration is how orders are handled. They donât use the buzzers to notify customers when food is ready, nor do they call out names. As a result, food just sits there, unattended, while customers are left waiting, unaware that their order is ready. Unfortunately, this has happened more than once, which makes the experience frustrating and disappointing. I really hope they address this issue because great food deserves great service.
I got the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada salad. It was excellent. One thing that really stood out to me today was the service at this location. It was pretty busy at lunch time on a Saturday and the staff were so nice. I think the gentleman in the dining area was the manager, he made an effort to talk to everyone, give updates on orders without even having to ask and was quick to wipe down tables as soon as they became available.
I enjoy their collection of sandwiches and the option to do a sandwich with soup. Parking is easy and there are other nearby shopping activities. Additionally, thereâs a patio option if you want to bring your fur baby. Staff is super friendly and excellent at making recommendations if you are having a hard time deciding on something because itâs all so yummy!
Great food, wonderful atmosphere. The staff makes you feel welcome and genuinely cared for.
This location was dirty. The service was bad and the sandwich made my stomach hurt. I think my husband and I got food poison from this location. So disappointed!

Mendocino Farms inside Whole Foods is a solid spot for fresh, flavorful sandwiches and salads, though itâs a slightly different experience than their standalone locations. The food is still top-notchâI had the âNot So Friedâ Chicken Sandwich, and it was delicious, with tender chicken, tangy slaw, and a perfectly toasted bun. The salads are equally fresh and satisfying, with creative ingredients and dressings that make them anything but boring. That said, being inside a grocery store means the vibe is more grab-and-go than the cozy, sit-down feel of their regular spots. Itâs a great option for a quick, healthy meal while youâre shopping, but donât expect the full Mendocino Farms experience. Still, for grocery store dining, itâs a standout!
Was looking to grab a quick salad for lunch near an office I was visiting and found this place on The Google Maps. This is in fact just a carve out in a While Foods market. They have some outdoor seating but itâs just on the sidewalk next to a parking lot. They do indeed have salads, but definitely nothing to write home about. I got the Caesar salad and added steak. The salad itself was ok but there was some incredibly crunchy topping almost like a crispy quinoa or something which was entirely too crunchy for my taste. The added steak was truly unfortunate. Extremely overcooked, quite dry and not flavorful. The staff were the bright point - very cheerful and helpful.
Peruvian steak sandwich is delicious but wish they had better sides
I literally just waited an hour for my salad. Ridiculous
Colin, the General Manager, goes above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your food and your experience. It is very clear how he attained that position.
I was eating lunch on the patio with my two kids. He stopped at our table noticing my son hadn't eaten any of his PB&J and asked what the issue was. I just explained he isn't much of a bread person. Colin's response was to offer to make another PB&J, but this time cutting the bread slices thinner to result in less bread. When my son turned that down, he offered soup. My son turned that down as well, but Colin noticed he was really loving the apple slices that come with the kid's meals, so he brought out not one, but two more containers of them - free of charge!
Beyond that, his staff was very attentive to figuring out our unique coupon situation at the register - without condescending or giving us any hassle.
It was a great experience! And the food is delicious! We'll definitely be returning!
*Great for kids! Just be forewarned: This location (at the District) does NOT offer chicken tenders or pizza!*
