This used to be a good restaurant for French onion soup & salads. We were disappointed in both and our server only checked on us once and didn't bring us an extra plate for sharing as I requested. There were only a few people in the restaurant. Maybe because of the poor food and service.
I was looking forward to a hot soup on a cold night.

We had a party of 10 and everyone enjoyed their food. I had a small problem, but it really affected how much I liked my dish. I ordered the birria omelette from the seasonal menu. It was quite delicious, but too hot for me. They added chopped jalapeños to the dish, but that was not listed on the menu. Had I known they would do that, I would have asked for them to be omitted, which would have meant I would enjoy my food much more.

I was there with my family for thanksgiving dinner we had a reservation and it went well with that, we got seated less than 5 minutes after we arrived, hostess were really nice, but as soon as we were seated everything went down hill, our waitress took at least 10 minutes to get to us after that she took our drink and food order together we knew she was busy so we try to make our order as simple as possible 2 ice teas 2 soft drinks and 4 turkey dinners as they are served no modifications, 3 soups and 1 salad. After that 10 minutes after she came back with our soups and salad and 10 minutes after with the drinks so soup before drinks. 40 minutes after we got our food but, at this point we had ask already 2 times for bread after that we ask for bread in the middle of our dinner and when we were almost done with our dinner we ask one more time. She just keeps saying sure as soon as is out of the oven! So I guess is one oven per table because every other table got their bread at the end we were over it and ask for our pies to go she brought them all 4 at the same time and literally almost threw the boxes on our table so two of them landed upside down. Honestly for an $185 dollars meal for 4 people I think is overpriced I think I would rather go to Denny’s next time better service at way cheaper price.

I've been eating at Mimi's for over 35 years, but I doubt I'll go back. The quality has gone so far down, the expectations were not met, and the experience has just gone downhill overall.

First time trying to take the family to a restaurant for Thanksgiving, so I have nothing else to compare it to, other than my expectations vs. reality. We knew they were serving off the holiday menu only. What we didn't know was that it was like an airplane flight, where they bring you a fixed plate with everything on the holiday menu, regardless of whether or not you wanted it. There was a choice of salad (I think two salads and three soups), and there was a choice of pie for dessert (pecan or pumpkin), but everything else was served the same. There were six sides (gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce). No rolls or bread, which is odd, because, you know...Mimi's. Maybe not coincidentally, there were also 6 mixed cocktails available for purchase. Another expectation is that our party of 14 would be seated around the same table, or at least a collection of tables, placed together that were all the same height. The reality is that a few members of the party had one elbow on a table three inches taller than their other elbow on the shorter table. This made dining somewhat challenging for the four octogenarians in our party. Another expectation is that the waitress would remember our beverage orders, and not stand at the end of the table and ask loudly, "OK, who had the Cokes/". Yes, it was a holiday, and we expected it to be busy, but the whole experience left my family with some regret we tried something different this year. And to whoever was in the back preparing dishes, for some reason might have anticipated a negative review, and that's why they garnished my green bean casserole with candied bacon, and my sweet potatoes with dried onion flakes.

The brunch menu is large with something for everyone. Both dishes were excellent. Initial drink order was very slow, but everything else was excellent and great value.

waitress was slow, inattentive, didn't check back very often, and really dropped the ball. This is from someone that's been in the restaurant industry for decades. It really doesn't expect too much other than average service. This was far below it. Probably will not come back.

I had such a nice visit here! I ordered the Jambalaya Pasta, a Seasonal Dubai Muffin, and an Iced Coffee. Everything was delicious and freshly made.

The jambalaya pasta had a great flavor with just the right amount of spice, the muffin was warm and soft (tasted homemade!), and the iced coffee was super fresh and smooth.

The staff were kind and welcoming, and the café had a cozy, relaxed vibe 😊 perfect for a casual lunch or brunch. I’ll definitely come back again 💛
