We have finally found our favorite pizza! The Works--perfect--cheesy and full of great toppings. Even their pepperoni is better than at other places. We always get take-out. Sometimes slow to pick up phone, but usually GREAT pizza.

Was hopeful due to reviews. The crust and cheese were good. Sauce and pepperoni tasted low quality, which made the pizza taste like cheap school lunch pizza. Porchini mushrooms were subpar possibly due to being overcooked. Nothing special. Due to good crust and cheese maybe I’d try a white pizza with ricotta. Now I know not to trust highly rated pizza places in Irvine/Tustin.

For a recent company event, I ordered from Sal’s Pizzeria on Park Avenue in Tustin—just around the corner from our venue. It was a first-time experience for our whole group, and I’m so glad we gave it a try!
The pizzeria is clean and inviting, and the service was excellent. Fabiola took my order and lived up to her name—FABulous! She was cheerful, helpful, and really went above and beyond to make the process easy. That kind of great customer service is rare these days, and she nailed it.
I had preordered several 18-inch New York-style pizzas and asked for delivery since I was managing the event and dealing with a hip injury. They made it happen without a hitch, and I truly appreciated that support.
The pizzas arrived hot and fresh, and everyone really enjoyed them! 🍕 Personally, I had the sausage pizza—it was flavorful and satisfying, though a bit too salty for me. I'd give the pizza a 4.5 out of 5, just due to that. I also requested well-done crusts, which didn’t quite come through, but honestly, it was still a strong showing overall.
What really stood out was the friendly service and reliability. That’s what earns this experience a solid 5-star rating from me. I’d absolutely recommend Sal’s Pizzeria for events, gatherings, or anytime you’re in the mood for classic NY-style pizza with great service to match.

solid place that does slices and pies. got three slices…a hawaiian, a veggie and a cheese. all were solid and reminded me of your typical NY slice. fold it up and eat it.
one of the cool things about their location is that you can grab a slice and then walk around the district. there is another pizza/italian place across the plaza in the district but it’s more of a sit down place and no slices.
Good morning how was there yesterday proximate about 6:30 PM Wednesday I have two piece of pizza and I get a cup of water before I leave. I had a zip of soda and a man is a Latino was working there. He raised hell for me to have a zip of soda. You did not pay for a soda. That was bad. I am disappointed always the place is great and a great pizza.
