Overall it was an ok experience. The beef soup was not a great value. It came w/ a lot of noodles (they almost tasted packaged, ones I could buy & make myself) & very little beef. The wontons were tasty & I appreciated those.

A great place for soup dumplings and a lot of other Chinese favorites at a pretty decent price.

Soup dumps: Get
They were juicy and soupy. Wasn't the best I've ever had but still very enjoyable.

Scallion pancake: Maybe
By itself it was just okay and probably a skip but I think our server recommend some sauce or idk if it came with it but it was the savior of this dish lol

Wontons: Get
You can't go wrong with these and they were also pretty juicy and very comforting

Service was soooo polite and quick. There was a decent amount of seating when we went and the food came out SO fast.

We put our number down for they can text us when our table is ready we waited over 30 minutes and we decided to go to a store near by only for us to never get a text and comeback to our table handed to someone else and when we asked about how we never got a text they said “it’s because our system is not doing text” and not even 10 minutes later someone got a text that their table is ready goes for other people as well and we waited over an hour for when it was originally gonna be 15 minutes.

All items I have ordered were very good.
Especially, Seven Gram Xiao Long Bao, beef roll , pig ears were excellent. Golden Prime noodle soup was very good as well.

Went to Seven Grams on Black Friday around 1 pm. There was a line of people waiting outside so quite a popular restaurant. We chose to order food for takeaway to bypass the line. We got the Taiwanese Beef Rolls Wrap and Sesame Balls. The Taiwanese Beef Rolls Wrap was superb, the green onion wrap was nice and flakey. The meat was tender and seasoned well. This was a nice Taiwanese Beef Rolls wrap. The food came out timely and the employees were helpful.

As someone who absolutely loves Chinese food, I have to say Seven Grams in Irvine is one of the best and most refined places I’ve found in Orange County. It feels more authentic and elevated than your typical spot, and I am always impressed by the freshness of their ingredients and the bold, clean flavors—they truly go above and beyond.

I always start my meal with their incredible Sichuan Spicy Wontons; they are the perfect appetizer—tender wrappers swimming in a gorgeous chili oil that gets my palate ready for the rest of the meal.

For main courses, I have a few favorites I insist you try. I highly recommend their classic Dan Dan Noodles, which are perfectly seasoned and incredibly satisfying. But the real showstopper is their Poached Sliced Beef in Hot Chili Oil; it delivers an incredible, savory, and numbing heat that I absolutely crave. We always balance that rich dish out with an order of their crunchy Stir-fried Green Beans to share. If you love authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine, I guarantee you will love Seven Grams as much as I do!

A consistently satisfying place for meals. They offer a few creative noodle options that lean more playful than traditional, and the rest of the menu shows near.perfect skill in every dish I’ve tried. Always a great pick when you want something truly enjoyable.

Thee best peanut cold noodles I’ve had. This place is located in a small plaza , and the parking is always packed. But you definitely will get a lot of food for a very reasonable price.
I like making the trip out here from Long Beach just cause the food and price is just unbeaten. The peanut cold noodles , the noodles with scallion sauce, the dumplings, everything is amazing. If you find yourself in the area craving noodles this is the place, even if you aren’t it definitely still is the place.
The cold noodles with peanut butter has such an amazing flavor, so smooth but it’ll have you wanting more. The warmth and taste of the warm noodles with scallion sauce also has a very good taste to it. The dumplings easily beat din tai fung, and for the price this place cannot be beat!
