Disappointingly this location was not like the one in HB. The fish and chips was a sad story.

I am feeling generous today with three stars. Order grilled fish bowl, upgrade to Tuna and the tuna came raw . Well, how could a grilled fish come raw? The lady employee reluctantly offered a replacement, i ordered salmon. The food itself comes to $ 18, less $10 coupon. Without coupon, I would go to california fish grill any day. The bowl consist of veggie, rice not well cooked (somewhat hard, or perhaps need to be cooked with more water) grilled salmon that is not tasty. Without coupon, this may the the last visit.

Customer service matters. I wanted to try this place, and I wanted to like it, but it's earned a place on my Dead to Me collection. and my Tustin Pics and Pans collection. I arrived at approximately 10:58 or 10:59 a.m., so a minute or two before its scheduled 11:00 a.m. opening. When I approached the ordering counter, I saw an employee with his nose buried in his phone. I asked, "are you open." He looked up just long enough to say, "not yet," and went right back to his phone. He could have said, "we'll be open is just a minute or two," but no. He even could have taken my order, but no. Needless to say, with that kind of attitude, I bounced. I won't be back. That interaction told me all I need to know.

Every time I am in Tustin working in the area I eat here! I really love their lobster roll, as well as their shrimp roll. This place isn't anything fancy since it's in the mess hall hidden within work buildings. It takes a bit to get your food since it's made fresh, and the service is decent. The menu is limited, which makes sense since it is seafood. If I worked in Tustin, I couldn't eat here every day because it's expensive, but as a treat, I really enjoy eating here..

This place has absolutely delicious seafood! The cook/cashier was very nice & helped us downsize our order as our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. For the price, the portions are very generous & the food is fresh & high quality. The cook definitely loves what he does because the food is incredible & made with lots of love. There are so many awesome options to choose from, it was hard to not pick everything & we'll definitely be back!

Service sucks. I went at 11am to avoid the lunch crowd on a Saturday morning. I was the first one in line and I don't usually mind waiting for food as I know they are busy. I had a group of 6-8 cops waiting behind me to order. It appears they all ordered the same lobster roll I ordered. 30-40 minutes after waiting I noticed all the cops that ordered after me was already eating and mine was not ready yet. It seems he prioritized their order over mine. I don't usually mind if they do as I know they are busy and are always on the go...but my 11 year old son who has autism is now having tantrum and my 2 other kids are also very hungry. I asked the guy where my order was and he said it was next. I feel that he should prioritize orders as they are received and not any other way. He was very rude and wasn't very nice. Sadly I cant patronize this business anymore as they are NOT kids and special needs friendly.

When they are open on their advertised time they do a relatively good job. One several occasions afterwork I have found them to close before 7pm even though their website states hours are 8pm. Not a place to rely on for dinner.

I was craving a lobster roll, so I recently tried SlapFish and ordered their lobster roll with fries and clam chowder. While the clam chowder was decent, rich, and flavorful, I was a bit disappointed with the lobster roll. The lobster meat was on the dryer side and a tad stringy. It didn't have the juicy and succulent texture I was expecting, and it didn't quite justify the price. Also, the toast was a bit too toasty and had a slight dryness to it as well. However, the fries were crispy and flavorful, balancing out the meal. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I had higher expectations for the lobster roll.

Service was fine at the Irvine location. The ambiance was just ok. The real major problem is that the menu has changed and is a major fail. The star of the Slapfish menu was the Grinder! It is no longer offered. The Grinder was the destination offering. Since the Huntington Beach location closed, a trip to Irvine was planned. The Grinder was calling. Alas, the Heroic Quest for seafood excellence ended in ignominious defeat... NO GRINDER! We bid farewell to Slapfish, never more will we venture forth to the once hallowed hall of crab/lobster succulence. The Grinder -- it has gone to feed the Choir Celestial!

In a food court. Parking is automated, takes a picture of your car as you enter and leave so the app knows exactly how long you’re parked for. Parking is validated for 2 hours. After that its $1.50 per 15 minutesFood was excellent and serving sizes are great!

Yikes. i popped in for a solo lunch yesterday and was excited to enjoy my tacos after the crowds died down. Sadly, the fish must've been off, as I experienced terrible food poisoning. Contacted them from the Square app and never heard back...

I was craving a lobster roll so forked over $38 plus tax /tip and it was tasty and hit the spot. Paired with a margarita from the bar, what a great combo. Would recommend going during lobster season though. This food hall is big, nice and new with lots of seating. Neat new area to stop by for a quick lunch.

Service was great, I missed the name of the fellow that took care of us but he did great. The food, not so much. The roll of the grinder did not feel fresh, it tasted like a couple of days ago.The clam chowder wasn't as rich as usual, I'm like it was thin out.A shame that they slowed their Huntington Beach branch.

I've been to other Slapfish locations before and this one isn't as good. To start with, the guy who was working there this past Thursday night was kind of grumpy. The fish and chips I got seemed like tail end scraps of fish. Other locations serve a nice thick meaty fish and chips. The lobster grilled cheese was great. The lobster roll looked great but was a shocking $40 market price! So we decided to forgo that.
