The only option for eating lunch here alone is $38.99. Insane. It's like they told you you not supposed to be here if you want chill by yourself.

Okay when you first walk in it kinda looks like nothing but when you try their food it was amazing and delicious! I dunno what kinda sweet and spicy start they gave me on the table on the beginning but me and my friend kept asking for more and devouring it with the meats! It was soo good and I have no idea what it’s called ? and then the pork belly!! The thinly sliced ones oh my gosh those were my favorite, I personally love fattier meats so that one I’d keep eating but it’s also not for everyone cuz my friend did not like but to each their own! They also got their buffet line of more meats so you’re never gunna go hungry or have to wait ??‍♀️

songhak was a small kbbq spot tucked away in one of tustin’s small plazas. they had a surprisingly large variety of meats, all with unique seasonings and flavors! the banchan was fresh, which is always a great sign! the restaurant itself was casual, nothing to special about it…but it makes a great spot to bring friends and family for a casual lunch or dinner! overall (7.5/10)

Songhak is one of my favorite places to get my gopchang fix. I came here a handful of times with my foodie partner in crime when craving intestines.
I wanted to take my boyfriend here, so I did. We didn't get gopchang because he's not a fan, but luckily they have all you can eat. bbq. They have two menu options, and we have a more variety of ones. We loved all the meat selections and banchang they had to offer.
They also have a buffet station for you to get more as you please. That is always a plus. You don't always have to bug them asking for more refills.
On the plus side, due to the Cali heat we are having, they installed a fan or ac that works really well! They have it towards the back for now. So try to get that.

If you're paying over $40 for AYCE Korean BBQ, you're in the wrong place, my guy. At $27 per person, this is a STEAL in this economy and in Orange County, but you know we had to opt for the premium option while we were there, which is only $39.

Order your premium cuts with your server, like marinated boneless short rib, beef tongue, and prime ribeye, which was the favorite of the table, and while you're waiting for those to arrive, check out their self-serve bar for even MORE meat options. Thiccc slabs of premium pork belly and unique marinades like Texas bourbon and even Hawaiian barbecue--who says pineapple belongs on just pizza??

The staff was on TOP of the grill changes and the banchans are all self-serve too.

If you're near OC, this is your new favorite spot! ;)

Adding this KBBQ spot to my rotation!

This place has a lunch special from Monday through Thursdays at 11:30 AM to 3 PM for $21.99. Today we opted for Combo A which includes 44 items for $26.99 a person and it was so delicious. You can taste the quality of their meats and I couldn’t stop ordering more and more pork belly.

They have a buffet station in the middle of the restaurant where you can grab your own meat and banchan. I think it’s a great idea so you don’t have to keep asking your servers for extra sides.

Overall, the ambience was great, the music was bopping, and the service was wonderful. We will be back.

I really appreciate the self-serve areas for kbbq! The salad/meat bar, you can choose how much meat you want and try their wide variety as well. I also REALLY ENJOY that the Rice Paper is self-serve! You can get the amount you would like without having to ask for more or be scared of receiving too much.

I went to Songhak for lunch with som friends and we were not expecting much, but we were shocked by the quality of the meats for the lunch special deal—which runs from 11:30-3 Monday to Thursday ($22 AYCE). We tried every kitchen order menu item and it was delicious! I especially enjoyed the premium beef brisket, wagyu beef belly, and thinly sliced pork belly. We also enjoyed sides of steamed egg, kimchi stew, and corn cheese!

There’s a sides station and additional “salad bar”, where you can just pick up any meats that you want without needing to order more. So you’ll never feel hungry! Service was also good and we were able to get multiple grill changes. Definitely recommend Songhak for anyone craving KBBQ in OC!

This is one of my favorite Korean BBQ spots. Love how we don't have to wait around for a server to bring us our sides or meats we can get it ourselves when we're ready to reload ? there are servers that are ready to help if you need a refill on your drink or anything else. The best part about this place is the price it is very reasonable for all the meats and side options they have.

Came here for lunch with my friends and decided to order items from the Premium Menu. We ordered the Prime Boneless Short Rib, Premium Beef Brisket, Wagyu Beef Belly with Picante Sauce, Prime Marinated Short Rib, and Garlic Yum Yum Pork Belly. From the buffet section, we grabbed rice paper, rice, and some Premium Pork Belly slices. My favorite bites were the boneless short rib and wagyu belly pieces. We loved that we were able to refill our own sides as needed. It beats waving someone down to refill all our banchan. We only ordered with our waiter for the premium stuff. We ordered corn cheese and soups on the side. We also ordered cold noodles. The place was nice and clean. It was well ventilated, and thankfully, they also had AC in the area we were at. We were assisted by Andy. He gave us excellent service. There's free parking in the shared plaza. Overall, we would definitely come again!

Songhak offers ayce kbbq and they even have a buffet bar that serves up more protein options! I came in at 4:30 and there were already a few parties, but I was seated immediately. Right off the bat I was greeted by a lovely korean ahjumma who always checked in on us despite being super busy with other servers! The meat quality is definitely better than other ayce spots in the area and I love their gopchang combo.
