Service was great and my drink was prepared just as I ask for
I stopped by Starbucks today, ordered my drink, and then asked for a simple glass of water. You’d think that after paying for a drink, asking for a cup of water wouldn’t be a big deal — but apparently it’s a whole process.
I was told I needed to go back to the cash register and wait in line again just to order a cup of water. Not bottled water. Not a custom drink. Just tap water in a paper cup. Meanwhile, the baristas behind the counter were fully capable of handing me one in seconds but refused because “it has to be rung up.”
It’s honestly disappointing — a company that prides itself on “customer experience” can’t seem to handle basic hospitality. Starbucks, if someone just bought a drink, maybe don’t make them jump through hoops for a cup of water. It’s not about policy, it’s about common sense and respect.

This starbucks location in particular has always made my experience 5 stars with their amazing hospitality! Shout out to Sarah for her kindness, killer multitasking skills, amazing attitude, and great customer service!

I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had at this Starbucks (2961 El Camino Real, Tustin). I went there with my 8-year-old daughter today at 8:30 PM, well before closing time, and the staff refused to let her use the restroom. This was not only unreasonable, but the attitude of the employees was rude and dismissive.
This is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a child. If the store is open, basic facilities like restrooms should be accessible — and staff should treat customers with respect. I left feeling frustrated and very upset. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their customer service.

A few days ago I went to the store, I asked one of your lovely employees, can I have a cup of tap water or hot water? I was told, you need to buy either cup of tea or coffee. Why should I buy something to get a free cup of water?
It is RIDICULUS. Other Starbucks stores offered a free cup of water for asking.
