My favorite sushi spot! Every time I've been in, I've had a great time, from great caring servers, to high quality fish, to delicately built plates. Hard to go wrong here. The fish can be a little pricey at times (since they're all market rate), but they do offer high quality options like chu toro, king salmon, and bluefin tuna. Good portion sizes too, whether rolls, sashimi, or other plates. Definitely check this spot out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed.

Sat at the bar, sipped some smooth sake, and devoured nigiri that tasted like they were caught 5 minutes ago. Will be back

I’ve been going to Sushi Bear for five years and every time the food and service is 10/10. Their sushi is the freshest in all of SoCal, and the rolls are so unique! The team is as amazing as the food! They never disappoint! If you’re in SoCal and looking for sushi this is the place!! Even if you haven’t had raw fish before, Sushi Bear will convert you!!! The absolute best!!!!

We love this place, love their foods! Service could be a little slow during dinner rush hours, but overall, we still like to come here when we're in town.

Good place that went slightly down from great. Fish is still great but serving sizes like many places has decreased somewhat while prices increase. Some flavor has been lost along the way with some of the cuts on sushi. Still great service and environment but for serious sushi heads, this place might not check all the boxes. Specials are on point for those who want a quick fix!

As far as sushi spots go. This is worth driving to. It has a friendly vibe and is never very busy. They have a great selection of all kinds of sushi. Whether you like cooked, baked, raw, traditional, tempura, whatever. It's all very good. I almost always get pick up from here and when I walk in the chefs always greet you. This place is also very clean.

I usually order chirashi don bowls, but when I saw this special I wanted to try it! It tasted great, the real crab meat taste overpowered the flavors of the fish which was my only real "issue". My friends also ordered rolls and they came out with cute flashing lights and the rolls were super filling. Definitely worth coming back here! The staff is super nice and welcoming.
