Every time I come here something is screwed up with my order. You wait 15-20 minutes in the line to get your food, which is alright and then they still mess up your order. And then you get the wait another 15-20 while they fix it. It’s awesome. Love this. If you want salsa if your burrito or tacos, you might as well go to a real taco shop or a carnicería that has sauces available because they are stingy here, and will charge you $0.50 each.

Superb food, smiling happy employees, comfy So.Cal atmosphere. My new go to Mexican food spot. I can’t wait until paint and sip nights happen.

Tried for the first time via drive through.Ordered steak burrito, chicken taco, corn, and churro. The order came out in 5 min with no line. The food was warm, and had no issues with presentation.Steak burrito: most of the flavor comes from grilled onion; interesting flavor that you wouldn’t expect from Mexican place. 4/5Chicken taco: yuck. No flavor chicken with tons of cabbage and corn. Couldn’t tell if I am eating a salad or taco. 1/5Corn: good flavor, but good god there is so much salt!! I could only eat few bites. 2/5Churros: tastes great, but it has a soggy texture. I know I ordered it to-go, but I wouldn’t have high expectation regardless. 3.5/5Overall, I think this place has high quality ingredient, but having issues with the assembly. I might give this place a try again with steak taco and margarita. I will update the review if that experience changes my opinion.

A unique twist on tacos, made to order with high quality ingredients and a smoky flavor.

The food was tasty. The prices were excellent. But the steak burrito and pork taco were a little too fatty for my liking.

What happened to this place?? They used to serve the BEST breakfast burritos and tacos. They have replaced their chorizo with hot dog meat and it is a huge downgrade. I was so bummed to open up my order and see chopped up hot dog meat in there :(

The chicken burrito isn’t at all what it used to be. Before it was the best, juiciest chicken burrito. Now it’s the driest, blandest burrito I’ve ever had. It’s majority lettuce with a hint of chicken and a hint of corn. Please fix this before issue. I thought it was a fluke but this keeps happening time and time again. Also the steak burrito needs to have smaller chopped up pieces of the steak. I swear, when I took a bite into the steak burrito last night, I bit into it and pulled out a 4 inch piece of steak, which then left half the burrito hollow with beans. Steak is extremely chewy as well now. This place is highly slacking and isn’t at all what it used to be, which was my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time. I won’t be back unfortunately and that makes me sad

Tacos Mesita is one of our favorite places to grab a quick and high quality meal. We frequently get the bean & cheese burrito and steak tacos, but tonight we tried the rice & beans and the rice motivated me to write this review; it's SO GOOD! We also tried the churros which were pillow soft and delicious. You can't beat the $2 margaritas on their late night menu either. Not pictured: their horchata. I snapped the cinnamon instead to impart how homemade it tastes. It's made with tiger nuts that make it unique and probably the best horchata I've ever had. Kudos to them for creating a cute outdoor space (with blankets).

Food and staff were amazing! Everything was excellent but I can't stop thinking about the chicken - smoky and cravable ?

I only had a burrito for lunch here. It was on a rainy day and there was only seating in the outdoor patio. The staff is so nice, they turned on the heaters and put blankets on the metal seats for us. Service is quick and efficient. The burrito has a lot of meat. My friends ordered tacos and those have real steak in them. I think the food is "clean" and healthy, not the saucy, high fat, high sodium stuff, and it is tasty. Definitely recommended!
