The food and the place is ok to enjoy a family dinner. I won’t call it the best but good enough to go once. Kids enjoyed the food but it was bit salty for us. The tender coconut is not good. It is not worth the 10$ price. The steak was over cooked and chewy. Appetizers are good.

Wanted some Thai food after a movie and tried this place. I've tried a lot of Thai restaurants over the decades and it takes a lot to impress me because I compare everything to the flavor, quality, and authenticity of the restaurants in Thai Town, Hollywood and surrounding areas. Shrimp Pad See Ewe: for me the seasonings were bland and dry, and the noodles were not wide like I'm used to eating. It was ok but not worth compliments. My wife had the Beef Panang: The amount of beef was so disappointing and they tried to compensate by loading it up with potatoes. The curry was weak and dull compared to what I'm used to. Thai food itself can be a whirlwind of sweet, sour, spicy, and other edible experiences and I can tell you that this place is not.

I've been here twice so far. They have nice lunch specials. I like their Thai iced tea as it's not too sweet. Today, we got the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Tom Yum Soup. We sat in the patio because the weather was nice, and it was a little crowded inside. It was cute on the patio, but I think they forgot about us out there. Hahaha. With COVID and all, I've been extra gracious, so it was fine. The food is tasty! It's on the pricey side, but it's at The District, so we get it. We have been coming to Thai Bamboo for 5 years and it never disappointed. Very solid good quality and fast service. Great for families is the portion size, you can share some of the entrees. The menu doesn't have any "fusion" type plates but a good basic selection of thai dishes. Great convenient location next to the Parking lot!

I love coming to eat here. The food is great. I always order Pad See Eew with beef, Pad Thai with shrimp or vegetarian Pad Thai. Their Tom Yum is pretty good too and the Coconut Milk shrimp bowl is pretty good too. I also like their shrimp with spicy mango sauce. I'm the kind of person that always order the same thing when I go out to eat.. like either Pad See Eew, Pad Thai and Tom Yum. Here at Thai Bamboo, I like to be more adventurous and try a different dish when I'm here. The service is great and I love that it's pretty quiet there and they don't play loud music.

I ordered takeout--the first call no one picked up but I can see why. When I got there, only two employees were working the restaurant and they seemed very busy with takeout orders. They were working very diligently though. The place is small, about 8 or 9 tables, so if I wanted to eat there, I might try it during a non peak eating time. It looked clean and the man packing my order, whom I also assume was the person I talked to on the phone, was very nice. Extra points for packing a bunch of napkins and utensils and chili peppers, spicy condiments are always a plus! I ordered their spicy Thai fried rice (spice level 6) and basil beef (spice level 5) and veggie spring roll. Ok, their "spring rolls" on the menu, FYI, are egg rolls; they don't have rice paper spring rolls. Can't complain about the food and the portion is huge. Inflation has hit prices but the portion is great. The fried rice could be shared with 3-4 people. My husband and I couldn't finish it so we heated them up the next day and it was still good. I would go there again if I'm in the area and feeling like eating Thai food.

This place used to be FULL of customers (on a weekday) during the weekday lunch hours, with a waitlist going. The food was tasty and hot (temp). That was pre-pandemic days. I went today for lunch and it was pretty empty; there were less than 4 tables with customers. This place can easily fit 20 4-party tables. The food was warm and not as tasty anymore. The lunch specials start at $13 and depending on what you order, it might not be worth it. There are other delish Thai food in this area. I don't think I'll be dining here anymore. NOTE: the 2-stars is for good customer service only.

Thai Bistro is decent Thai food spot if you're in the Tustin area, but don't expect anything groundbreaking. The service is fast and quick, but the food lacks flavor.

My sister got FOOD POISONING! She threw up all night thank god i didn't have the stomach to even digest this so-called "food". This place should be shut down.

Absolutely loved this place. My boyfriend was craving Thai food and this place was nearby. I got the Beef Panang Curry and my boyfriend got the Chicken Yellow Curry. It came with a bowl of rice with each dish. The curry was absolutely lovely. Reminded me of my comfort foods from when I was younger. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I will be coming back.Side note: portions are big and are definitely shareable or family style if needed to be.

This place is probably one of the worse Thai restaurants I've ever been to. When we walked in, service was not welcoming. When our order was taken, the waitress never made eye contact. We probably should have left after we saw that the menu said "Entress" instead of "Entrees". We ordered Drunken Chicken Noodle, Chicken Kaprow, and Satay. Food arrived very fast, but almost too quick like there was no care for the dishes. The Drunken Noodle did not taste anything like any other place. Instead it was drenched in some sweet sauce similar to Pad Thai. The Kaprow said "minced Chicken", but it was just chopped chicken the size of chicken nuggets. There was almost no basil flavor unless you ate a piece of basil. It tasted dry and crispy. It was like eating dry popcorn chicken. The Satay was fine, but that's tough to mess up. We will not return.

I enjoy the decor at this establishment. Service was a bit slow considering we were the only ones at the restaurant. My go-to place is Phuket Thai on Huntington Beach, it's my threshold. Maybe it's because I got the New Edition Pad Thai, it taste like Pad Thai but the texture is kinda weird because the noodles are like pasta.

I used to like dining here on a Sunday before seeing a movie, but that all changed today. I sat down, ordered my Thai iced tea and then told the server I was ready to order. I pointed to the Pad Thai lunch special and she told me that it was only available as a full entrée. I then asked which lunch specials were available and she told me that none of them were because "it's the weekend." I've been ordering lunch specials here on the weekend for years. I'm not sure why the sudden change, but even their menu lists lunch specials from 11 am - 3 pm; it does NOT say on weekdays only or anything like that. I'll need to find a new lunch location it seems.

We visited this place because we were looking for thai food. Honestly this place did not disappoint. We had the basil chicken and the tom yum seafood soup. Basil chicken plate had a very nostalgic flavor to it and the tom tum seafood soup had an interesting assortment of seafood that gave the soup a nice flavor. Service at the place was fast and our food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. They have an outdoor seating area at the front but they also allow indoor seating. Worth a visit if you are looking for thai food and happen to find yourself at the tustin district!
