The cocktails, ceviche, and calamari are incredible!
First time here. Loved it!
Not my favorite place. Clam chowder was great but the rest was eh.
Really fresh seafood including clam chowder.
Started with a dozen oysters, then I had the sea bass. Everything was really good and the other dishes at our table looked good as well. One was the halibut, and the others were two different kinds of seafood with pasta.
The food was very good, but a couple of the shrimp in my salad were partially raw. The waiter tried to fix it by taking the shrimp back to the chef to cook it a little more. But the chef came out with a bad attitude and handed me a plate with rubbery overcooked shrimp, lol. The manager gave me a free dessert, to compensate which was nice.
The waiters that served us were excellent.
The wine was very good
The atmosphere is nice but a bit noisy, so it was difficult to hear the conversations at our table.
My friends and I will go there again, but I won't order any shrimp again, lol.
Great salmon over polenta. Try it!
Great service always making sure you are doing well...
The Black Marlin is a great and fun local eatery. The food is great as well as their cocktails. We went on a Thursday night, they have world class magicians performing strolling magic. We got to see our favorite magicians, Johnny “Ace” Palmer the night we went. I highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Went here 2x and service was great both times but ... The first time we went ended up being "Sunday brunch" which is an entirely different menu so we only had coffee and bailed. Came for dinner another night and still a different menu than we had viewed online... So I'm not sure what the menu is when... Kind of confusing and a tad frustrating when you're accommodating for the pickiest eater on earth so go to restaurants based of menu.... Ended up ordering dinner the second time and got the halibut. They were amazing in accommodating in having a totally plain fish with all sides and sauces on the side. I'm not sure how it all would've meshed together but for someone who is weird about making sure fish is completely cooked, that cut of fish was WAY overcooked. And for the one dish, a bowl of very peppery chowder, and 2 drinks, $100 seems a bit much so we definitely wouldn't go back based on the very meh food alone... Maybe not best for families? The table next to us were cussing up a storm.

We go there once a week for lunch. Tommy is great! He takes care of the bar and the bar tops too! He makes sure you have what you need, and pays attention when he sees your drink is getting low.

Terrific place for great food and cocktails. Sat at the bar and the service from Dustin was fantastic. The warm and friendly greeting from Audrey definitely makes our return eminent. Can’t wait to visit old town Tustin again.

Sunday night.. from the moment we walked in everyone said hello. Even the cook from the line said hello. Britney our server was spot on from beginning to end. Food was perfect. Filet was a true medium rare topped with Bleu Cheese. The manager talked me into the signature donut for dessert. So glad she did.
Thanks for a great dinner. You guys made my day.
