I didn't see any crabs moving around the floor, but the few that made my paper plate were what I expected.

Crab Cooker in Tustin is awesome! I had the Halibut (fish of the day) and a bowl of clam chowder, and both were seriously delicious. The Halibut was super fresh and cooked just right, and the chowder was rich and full of flavor without being too heavy. The vibe is laid-back, and the service is friendly but not over the top. If you're in the mood for some solid seafood, this is definitely the place to go. Simple, fresh, and hits the spot!

They used to put clams in their chowder, I think they substituted corn starch for the clams! Not like it used to be!

The recipe for happy and satisfied diners has not changed since I worked at the Newport restaurant decades ago. Do go changin'! Grilled Halibut, special CC Mashed potatoes, and always delicious vole slaw. So good!

We were disappointed! Not kid friendly no kid menus and NO Fries! The coleslaw was bland the cheese potatoes tasted like instant potatoes! Bread was hard. Not a good experience not worth the money. Outdated atmosphere and plastic wear!

I'm in my late 60's, grew up in Newport, have visited the Crab Cooker many times on the Penninsula, but I never knew there was a sister restaurant in Tustin until today! Not quite the same ambience as being down by the waterfront, but still the same delicious food and menu that has never changed in my lifetime. If you can't make it down to the beach area, go here...you won't be disappointed.

Katie took great care ❤️ of our family. The food is delicious and always cooked to perfection. If you need some omega 3, go to the Crab ? Cooker, they have high-quality delicious food. They sell the ? best seafood ?. I highly recommend going to the Cooker.

Parking: Tustin location has plenty of parking and the same great food as Newport Beach location.
