Yuck. No way that I would go again or recommend. Rice was nasty, old and/or not cook properly (hard). The meat was flavorless, dried out, old, cooked, and recooked, and recooked. The lettuce and tomatoes were typical fast food bagged shredded lettuce and flavorless, unripe tomatoes. I just hope that I don’t get sick.

I’ve used Uber Eats at this place several times before and have never had a bad experience, so this may have just been an unlucky visit.
I arrived about 10 minutes after the pickup time shown on Uber Eats, and the order wasn’t ready yet even there's no customer waiting, which I don’t mind. I informed the only staff member there, and I was told they would start making it right away. However, there was no sign of preparation, so I asked again after another 10 minutes. I was then told that the ingredients hadn’t been warmed up yet and that they would start cooking now, and I was offered water while waiting. I declined, as I would have preferred the food to be prepared instead.
After waiting an additional 5 minutes, the food was finally ready.
This is the only Halal Guys location close to my home, so I will likely continue to visit, but probably less frequently. I also don’t think I’ll use Uber Eats at this location again.

Really disappointing. Got DoorDash and they hadn’t started making my order until after it was supposed to be ready. Three people working and they couldn’t keep up with basic orders. And everything was wrong + gross.
And instead of the normal white sauce packaging, I got bags marked “Keep Refrigerated” that were room temperature at best.

visited this place and were left with mixed feelings. The food was bland, tasteless, and had too much sauce. I don’t think we’ll be coming back. I also wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids — it’s better to consider healthier food options

This location is diminishing due to the lack of professionalism of the recent hired / working employees. Placing online orders through third-party services don’t seem to come through to this location at times and when you try to explain the situation and that the order is already paid for and you’re willing to wait at the store for them to make it, they still look at you like youre crazy and trying to get free food or something. Train these employees to do better and to handle situations like this. Literally not coming to this location anymore due to the lack of effort and professionalism by the recent employees I’ve encountered. Seeing recent reviews as well on this location, seems quite a few people share the same sentiment.

Halal Guys is one of my favorite chains in the OC. I usually frequent the one in Cerritos and this was my first visit to the Irvine/tustin location. The staff was friendly and the food was great as always. The rice was a bit greasier than usual but I love the spices they put in the rice so I powered through. I appreciate that none of their locations skimp on the sauces. Sorry for having no photos, I ate it too fast
This place was good. I got the sandwich with beef and chicken, mmmm. I didnt take a Pic unfortunately. The service at the Irvine store was great. They got hit with a last minute rush before closing and they handled it well. Very nice staff. I missed out on trying the falafel, I forgot to order them. I'll definitely be back for a falafel and beef combo sandwich, just thinking about is making my mouth water.

I feel bad for the people in the US because living in the Europe for my entire life this Gyros place and food sucks!! Food has a terrible quality! Once eaten the Gyros in Europe you will never eat this again like many other fast foods!
