This is one of the worst food experiences i ever had, there is no respect for customers here.
The soup had a lot of soya sauce which made us puke, the waiter was rude and replaced the soup after main course.
The appetiser platter was told to feed 4 people but barely fed 3 ( 2 women and a man ). It came with 0.5 oz mint chutney. We asked for extra chutney and they brought came during our main course. ( the restaurant was barely occupied )
The waitress advised to get pyaz chilli naan and rogan lamb josh ( she’s trying to sell them to the other table as well ) both were a fail.
No flavour at all, this place sucks. The lamb biryani is an utter failure, the waitress didn’t even bother asking how’s the main course. She came after we left everything on the table without eating and asked do you want deserts and we said no please get the check. ( the waitress is arguing a lot )

I couldn’t process the whole night it was like I'm paying to be tortured with bad food and service so we paid and got out asap!

One of the best places for Indian food in South Cali. Ranju Ji is the best host you can find. I would love to revisit. The flavors and spices were a perfect combination.

Great food, maybe a bit pricey.
Service can be a little quicker. Weekdays lunch are better.
Would go back there for the food

Food was pretty good but portion sizes very small for the price. Also the service was pretty slow despite the restaurant not being busy.

Good food and atmosphere. Good portion sizes as well which is a big deal for a big boy like myself. Service leaves something to be desired especially considering the high price point. It was very slow and staff were not very helpful when asked questions.

Portions are really small for the prices they charge. Main dishes cost $25 and up and they charge extra $7 for the rice. Too much for too little.

Great food and very welcoming staff who really care about your dining experience. Clean and ambient space. We always celebrate our special occasions there and it’s been a pleasant experience.

The manager, the waitress, and other employees are extremely rude, greeting you with long and angry faces. You’re almost feeling that you need to apologize for being there. The waitress seemed upset to give you soda refills. They charge you a ridiculous big party tax, even when you are mostly with kids. The food was okay, but it took a long time to get the food, even when the restaurant was completely empty. We will not return there.

Got an online order and I am surprised to see that none of the curries come with a side of rice! The prices are very high for the portion sizes provided (of the curry/entrees). There is barely any paneer in paneer tikka masala and little to no baingan in the baingan curry. Filler ingredients like onion, cilantro are in abundance just to make the curry look thick and full! Extremely disappointed to see this. Expected better from @SanjeevKapoor's Yellow Chilli! Feel scammed.

The Yellow Chilli in Tustin has a nice ambiance and festive decor, but that’s where the positives end.

We came as a family of seven for an anniversary celebration. It took 35 minutes just to get soup, and after that, another 55 minutes for the main dishes. That’s almost two hours in the restaurant and over an hour and a half just waiting for food. This kind of delay is unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that claims to be “premium.”

What made it worse was the attitude of the staff. The host and servers did not smile once, never checked in, and were impossible to find when we needed updates. They looked completely uninterested in serving customers and more focused on chatting among themselves. Zero hospitality, zero professionalism.

The food was good, but the service was painfully slow and disrespectful of customers’ time. If you’re here to celebrate something special or expect basic courtesy and prompt service, this is not the place.

The quality of food is good, but service is pretty slow and disappointing. It takes some effort to get the waitress to your table!
