Food was definitely five stars however the service was slow. I don't know if that was a lack of servers or maybe the kitchen was behind. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meals. The sea bass tikka in the meaty appetizer section was really one of the best things! Perfectly cooked. I would go back just for that dish! Overall super tasty food and we will be back.
Fantastic and authentic Indian food at a good price. What more could you want? Highly recommend!
The quality of food and service have degraded significantly since we last visited this place. I think they are terribly short of staff and it takes a long time for the tired looking waiters to arrive. Even the food quality has deteriorated. No next time visit for this one
Overall it is Avery good I din restaurant. We are vegetarians. The food quality was very good but the quantity felt less. They have more gravy vs vegetables. The ambience is very good and the service was also very good.
This was my first time trying Indian food and it was so delicious and flavorful. I'd love to come back.
The cocktails are the best I have ever had! The food is outstanding, and the service is very helpful.
Excellent and creative dishes. Mellow, cozy atmosphere and great service! Always on our go to list. 👍🏻
Went there for the first time on a Friday night with my spouse. Luckily reserving on Open Table saved us waiting time. However, the seating we were offered was not good. It was a 2-person table crammed between 2 4-person tables. My chair had some food crumbs on it. No one came to serve us till about 15min since we were seated. Water was offered, no coasters. Menus were already on the table and so we narrowed down our options. Some random person showed up with a order-taking-handheld. If not for the hand-held we would have been worried with his look and demeanor. :-) We placed the order for a bread basket, kofta and lamb curry, with a pomegranate and lychee drinks. Lychee drink was not great. It tasted like a mix of lightly sweet buttermilk with some random mix of other things. My partner said the pomegranate drink was nice. Food tasted good and that was the highlight. Seating, service need lot of improvement. Prices were in-line with the location. I reluctantly paid them the 18% gratuity and came out thinking I'll never go there again, atleast not with as a party of two.
Service was not as expected. The place was notT busy when we arrived and stioll took several times to get server to come and take our order. Food tastes good but the meat content was very little. Mostly sauce.
First off, it was Valentines Day, I know it will be busy. But I was hungry and excited for a good dinner. The server didn't tell us his name, and they were offering a Valentine's Day menu $120 for two. After 20 minutes we chose what we wanted when someone finally came by. then after 40 minutes we got our drink and an app. It was over an hour and a half before we received our entrees. The food was pretty good, no complaints there. Desserts were fine also but tough to get past the service.

I recently tried the Fish Moilee here, and unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. For a dish that should be delicate and aromatic, this version completely missed the mark. If the kitchen can't improve it, they might want to consider removing it from the menu to avoid further letdowns for diners who expect an authentic experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Yellow Chilli Tustin, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the staff were incredibly welcoming.
The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Paneer Tikka Masala. The complex flavors were a true testament to the chef’s expertise. Each bite was a delightful blend of spices, perfectly balanced to create a rich and satisfying dish. The paneer was cooked to perfection, with a texture that was both tender and flavorful.
Equally impressive was the freshness of the roti. It was soft, warm, and had just the right amount of chewiness. The roti paired wonderfully with the paneer tikka masala, making each bite a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
If you’re looking for a place that offers authentic Indian cuisine with a modern twist, The Yellow Chilli Tustin is a must-visit. The attention to detail in every dish and the exceptional service make it a standout dining destination. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Food was fine. Service was fine. Chai was bland and they didn't even offer a refill. Atmosphere, the cookie cutter restaurants that now invade our suburban life. Unlikely to visit again. So many better Indian restaurants out there.
