I've visited Zip Korean bbq several times now, whether with my boyfriend or family, and each visit has been consistently great. Atmosphere is good and the service is excellent. The quality of the meats and food is always delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great ayce spot.

Our party of nine had the best experience today on Easter Sunday. The food was exceptional & flavorful. The service from Franco & his colleague Shawn as well as their wonderful bus person (with I’d gotten their names) was impeccable — they were so understanding with our multiple requests & they stayed on top of them all. All the meats were so fresh & the dishes both table fare & special sides were delicious. The spicy rice cakes & cheese corn — wow. I ate sooooo many plates of both! Super pricing. Can’t wait to go back!!! Thanks, Franco & Shawn for your superb service!

The food is good, fresh and tasty, but the service is terrible. There is almost no service. . . The waiter always had a straight face and looked very unhappy. No ingredients are added, no water is added, nothing. very bad!

Diving into Korean BBQ at The District at Tustin Legacy is like hitting the culinary jackpot, but with more grilling and less slot-pulling. Imagine a place where the aroma of marinated meats sizzling on grills competes with the lively banter of friends. It's a hands-on meat fest where you're both the chef and the diner, ensuring your steak is cooked just right—or hilariously wrong if you're a grilling newbie. With a side of kimchi and a dash of humor, this spot transforms dinner into an edible comedy show. And with the all-you-can-eat option, it's like an endless loop of delicious déjà vu. Perfect for meat lovers with a penchant for puns and a robust appetite!

somewhat limited menu and not many veggies when you ask for grill-able vegetables.

Everything here is amazing from the meat selection to the amazing service. I could use some more sides at the table but honestly I'm there for the meat so it's probably best not to bring out a bunch of stuff I won't eat anyway.

Joined the waitlist at 8:30 and waited for 45 minutes for the waitlist to not move. I then tried to go back in to ask about the waitlist at 9:20 but the doors were already locked.

We were in the Irvine area and yelped for kbbq and stumbled upon this place. So glad we came! Wish it was closer to home :( lol. Everything was good! The meats are pretty great quality. We ordered the LA short ribs, bulgogi, beef belly, garlic sirloin, rib eye, jumbo shrimp, corn cheese, tofu soup, steamed egg, etc. On the pricier side of AYCE but the quality was well worth it. We are a very happy family. Both our toddler and our big boy beasted their good and ate every kind of dish we ordered. Win in my book!

Price is about average for an AYCE KBBQ place and options are pretty decent. Been here a few times with my girlfriend and friends ad we like it. This was the place that introduced us to the concept of roasted pineapple with cinnamon sugar (which one of my friend really likes).Meat is fresh and was pretty good. Beef belly has a nice fat to meat ration and I didn't feel that quality decreased as we ordered more. Side dishes are nice and fresh. Our favorites are always beef belly and pork jowl. We recently got into large intestine and it was pretty good here, as long as you know how to cook it correctly.Service was good but sometimes it can be hit or miss. Sometimes we get pretty good service while other times our server would forget some items. But overall my experiences here was good.

tldr; great price for food quality, good serviceI've been here a few times over the past few months since their opening, and I think they have one of the best beef briskets ayce in oc. I've only been here for lunch on a weekday, where the deal is the best price. But still, the selection of meats is fair for lunch, and they have a good number of sides too (vegetables, soups, tteokbokki, corn cheese, etc) It can get pretty busy on a weekday lunch, so I'm sure it gets more crowded for dinners or the weekend, but on the lunches I've been I've only had to wait 10-15 minutes if I wait at all for a table. After that, the service is pretty consistent and everyone is fairly attentive. If you're really looking for super high quality kbbq, I think ayce is not what you should go for. However, if you're looking for a quick fix and love beef brisket like I do, this place is great for that! :)

We love their lunch menu. Me and my friend come here couple of times. I come here just to enjoy their tofu soup. Their lunch menu is $26 that comes with 4 kinds of meat AYCE (2 beef, 2 chicken) and other side dishes. My favorite is their tofu soup. Service is good and attentive. They check the grill and change them. Never had I had to remind them. Most of the time, the place was available to seat the 2 of us. Not sure about other time of the day. I highly recommend this place.

I came in slightly after eight on a Monday night. We opt for the standard menu which was 36 bucks per person. At the beginning it took quite a while to get our food. After that, the wait was not long. A delay may happen to any place while many people ordered at the same time. The beef brisket had a good marble and the beef tonque was really good. We also had steamed egg, thin pork belly, short ribs, pork jowl, octopus, onion and mushroom, ribeye steak. The last call was at 9:10, I did not have an issue with that. So far so good.
