I love the food. I usually take out, but yesterday we stayed. I was handed a number stand and put it in the table. I gave a 15% tip which is generous for table delivery. When the food was ready they called my number. I put my hand up, and they brought it over. When I said the plates were switched, she commented you were supposed to pick it up anyway. Ok, but then why hand me a number to put on the table? Why not tell me that when I ordered? No need to be rude. You saw I tipped you. Not going to tip there again. There are so many better ways for this to have been handled.

Still amazing food and price, 20 years later! Half sandwich and soup combo is the best deal for around $12. You can't beat it! Turkey, avocado, and Swiss on sliced sourdough wheat, with a cup of clam chowder (I added hot sauce to soup). I'm over 6 feet tall with a healthy appetite, this the perfect amount of food for lunch where I dont feel like I want to sleep afterwards like most other restaurants or fast food. Their food is restaurant quality at fast food prices. The "half sandwich" is the size of a "whole sandwich" at other businesses. I worked for Anderson bakery over 20 years ago, back when it was called Gain D'or, and the food is still just as great as when it was when I worked there.

The workers are enthusiastic and welcoming, and it definitely changed my mood for the better after a rough start to my morning.
Foot traffic was slower, some guests dining in but not crowded and no wait in line. Music was at a decent volume, enjoyable but not distracting and excessively loud.
Pastries are aesthetic and taste just as good as they look. I bought the strawberry croissant, fully expecting the food to taste somewhat mediocre like many aesthetic-forward bakeries. Reasonably priced ($9 totally for a croissant and earl grey tea, including tip). Pleasantly surprised that the croissant was crisp but not extremely hard, soft on the inside, and the strawberry cream was not overwhelmingly sweet. It tasted fresh, and the earl grey tea was hot. I will return.

Honestly just an awesome bakery. I am from out of town staying in a hotel nearby and needed some breakfast. I got the caprese breakfast sandwich on brioche and WOW it is so damn good. I am shocked it was less than $6 because it is DIVINE. Everything looked delicious and I wish this was in my hometown because I would go over day ???

IT is pricey for a salad and a sandwich. The place looks and feels clean and spacious. There is a lot of parking space.
Parking: There is a lot of parking.

I had the opportunity to try this bakery on 5/4/2024.It was packed and seem to be under stuffI feel so bad for the ladies that was at the register while she was taking orden, putting the order together and bring the food to people at the table, took forever to get my order, when I finally got my coffee was 15 minutes later after I ordered,Maybe this location can improve by having a better management.
I like the shokupan loaf and the baguette sandwiches are tasty light meals. I really think the ham/swiss/cornichon baguette is my favorite, the crunch from the cornichons is really delightful. This location doesn't have curry buns though, which is criminal!
