Just wondering, if this is the norm. I ordered a Turkey ultimate sandwich with clam chowder soup. I got one piece of Turkey that was cut. I don't even think it was cut in half barely a small piece of bacon and the spread of avocado. I ordered my sandwich on PAN to champagne, and it came on sourdough. I also ordered a mixed Berry salad and it was supposed to have a slice of sourdough and hey gave me raisin bread. I won't be eating here again. I've gotten more meat at SUBWAYS. I won,t go back and I don't recommend you eat there either..

Used to come here a lot, in particular I like cranberry walnut bread & creamy French. Was a good place to do a little reading as well. Plenty of parking. I got bored of the menu so have not been here for months.
Stopped by today & I like the Japanese items on menu. Red bean bun had ample filling, veggie curry bun was delicious. Will be coming back. Cakes are good too we’ve bought some for birthdays before.
Young man at the counter was very polite & friendly.

I love the food. I usually take out, but yesterday we stayed. I was handed a number stand and put it in the table. I gave a 15% tip which is generous for table delivery. When the food was ready they called my number. I put my hand up, and they brought it over. When I said the plates were switched, she commented you were supposed to pick it up anyway. Ok, but then why hand me a number to put on the table? Why not tell me that when I ordered? No need to be rude. You saw I tipped you. Not going to tip there again. There are so many better ways for this to have been handled.

Still amazing food and price, 20 years later! Half sandwich and soup combo is the best deal for around $12. You can't beat it! Turkey, avocado, and Swiss on sliced sourdough wheat, with a cup of clam chowder (I added hot sauce to soup). I'm over 6 feet tall with a healthy appetite, this the perfect amount of food for lunch where I dont feel like I want to sleep afterwards like most other restaurants or fast food. Their food is restaurant quality at fast food prices. The "half sandwich" is the size of a "whole sandwich" at other businesses. I worked for Anderson bakery over 20 years ago, back when it was called Gain D'or, and the food is still just as great as when it was when I worked there.

The workers are enthusiastic and welcoming, and it definitely changed my mood for the better after a rough start to my morning.

Foot traffic was slower, some guests dining in but not crowded and no wait in line. Music was at a decent volume, enjoyable but not distracting and excessively loud.

Pastries are aesthetic and taste just as good as they look. I bought the strawberry croissant, fully expecting the food to taste somewhat mediocre like many aesthetic-forward bakeries. Reasonably priced ($9 totally for a croissant and earl grey tea, including tip). Pleasantly surprised that the croissant was crisp but not extremely hard, soft on the inside, and the strawberry cream was not overwhelmingly sweet. It tasted fresh, and the earl grey tea was hot. I will return.
