The portion on the mochiko chicken is crazy, more chicken than rice! It has a nice crust and the mochiko sauce has a little kick to it, but the taste of the chicken itself is pretty average. It's a very filling plate even for two meals. The loco moco is steaming hot, with delicious sauce on the rice. Beer range is good, from the double stack stout to cherry cider. The vibe outside is so comfy just for a lunch, only negative that there's only street parking.

This gem you might miss if you weren't looking for it. Very simple set up with tables and shelters, heaters in an open air setting. Lots of really good beer choices, food selection, and wine. And the staff was great! I had a really good time watching the dubs game there. Thanks for the great service!

I had a great beer and the spicy chicken sandwich was exceptional, but there's this sign inside that just drives me nuts. Refusing cash is terrible, and if it's so expensive to run the business, raise the damn prices instead of tacking on a "service fee". Luckily that fee will become illegal July 1: "SB 478 expressly purports to ban “drip pricing,” which the legislation describes as advertising a price that is less than the actual price that a consumer will have to pay for a good or service."

The furikake fries and furikake chili fries were great. It’s japanese sweet sauce on top of fries. Tastes great with the beer and I liked the ambience of the place where you can sit outside, drink beer, and eat appetizers that go well with the beer.

Great little place in Union City. My partner and I stopped in to grab a bite. I had the Chicken Adobo and she had a Vegan bowl. Food was fresh and delicious.Vegetarian options: Quite a few Vegan options.
Birdhaus is a great place to meet friends and hang out. It has a super chill Hawaiian reggae vibe, much like hanging out in a friend's backyard. The people working here are the best! Very welcoming and friendly. We had to step out of the way of customers a couple of times as we were enjoying conversations with the bartenders. The draft beer selection is varied and carefully chosen. Excellent. They also have a good selection of caned craft beer. The happy hour prices are amazingly reasonable. I couldn't resist the loaded kalua pork taco, birria style. Can't wait to try the pupusas next time. Do yourself a favor and check 'em out.

This is a nice little low-key brewery in Union City. They don't serve much on tap, it's mostly locally canned brews, but they do have a great variety to choose from. They have a good selection of hard kombucha too which was a plus. Service was perfectly fine, beer is definitely more expensive than breweries who do it on tap, so just a heads up. Parking is street only. Food menu was asian-fusion (at least in my head that feels like a good description). I had the Chicken Adobo over brown rice, was delicious and portions were respectable! Wish I could do in between stars, would probably give this place around 4.2 ish.

Cute neighborhood beer garden right next to an elementary school lol The vibes are fun they play reggae music and there's lots of families who bring babies here. The outdoor area is safe for pets and you'd buy your beer in the garden area. The food is next door in the restaurant section. I ordered the Mochiko chicken and the spam fries, both were heavy on the fat and flavor but I'm not complaining The mochiko chicken although they used thighs was on the dry side. The spam fries were good but what would have made them better is if the fries were less soggy and more crispy hot. Definitely plates to share because they're heavy carbs and you will definitely go to sleep right after. Cute place to hangout on a chill day, it had enough people and there was ample seating.

Birdhaus is my favorite place to hangout with my friends. I even threw my birthday year here! I am addicted! Since then, my friends and I come here about once every other month or so. It is the perfect place to grab a drink, relax, chill, and eat some delicious food! Everyone who works there is super nice and helpful. They have a large selection of beers and the cashier helped us make our decision. I typically like to drink pilsners, lagers, and ales which they have a good selection to choose from. My husband LOVES IPAs and they have a huge selection. Basically this place is heaven for us! We recently had a son and this is the perfect place to have some fun and keep him entertained. Love this place so much! We will probably be back this weekend!
