I have always been a Chevy's fan and was sorry that so many locations have closed. When I saw this one was still open in Union City, I was excited to go. It was extremely crowded, the service was very bad, and the food was subpar. I was very disappointed. The best part was the chips and salsa

They were very busy today so the service was very slow. It took over 30mins for our food to come out and the food was okay. Alcoholic drinks were good and really good value for their price. Love the colorful decor.

Love this Chevys. We came for drinks while waiting for a table at Texas Roadhouse. The bartenders are cool and knows their drinks. Chevys has an everyday happy hour from 3-9pm at the bar area. We got a few rounds of happy hour margaritas $6 and happy hour margarita flights $10. We got to watch some Sunday night football while we waited for our table. Great job bartenders at Chevys.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at Chevys Fresh Mex last night. It was especially meaningful because our very first visit was about 20 years ago at this same location when we were dating.
It was great seeing familiar faces on the staff who have been there since those early days, which honestly says a lot. We started with flautas and margaritas, then both ordered the mixed grill. The grills came out hot and sizzling just like they should, and the portions are still generous after all these years. The margaritas were right on the money, and the flautas were solid, definitely something we still enjoy. And of course, the chips and salsa are one of a kind.
Victor was our waiter and he was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Really great guy. Joaquin also deserves a shoutout. He has always been welcoming and helpful every time he sees us, and that’s been true for about 20 years now.
Great food, great service, and a lot of good memories tied to this place. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Too slow service. Desert took more than half hour to arrive. Too bad, food was good, but wouldn't visit again. Check your bills before you leave. I had ordered an individual Mimosa ($7), but was charged for bottomless ($14).

The only thing I didn't like was they cut the lights all the way down. Like come on are ya'll serious? When I asked what happened to the lights, could they turn them back up.The lady told me sorry, but they stayed the same.

I walked in for the Sunday brunch special and was pleasantly surprised by the buffet layout. A lot of great food and desserts you can keep coming back too, and it's always hot too.
