Highly recommend lauriat meals their fried chicken is crunchier than jollibee. Avoid the beef wanton soup they only give you 2 very small pieces of wanton and one small piece of beef that you hardly taste as part of the ingredients on a pool of soup.

My mom, dad, sister and I decided to drive here at Chowking Union City because we all are craving for beef wanton noodles ? and their Antree #1, siomai and of course the popular black gulaman. We even got take-out orders. A lot of food for a reasonable price. We love it here!

Gross. food was so salty had to brush my teeth twice. Felt dehydrated even after multiple bottles of water. Had a stomach ache and had to visit the bathroom more 4 times. Nothing like the chowking is Sacramento.

I would give them 5 stars but they wouldn’t let me take out delivery when I didn’t want to dine in. Strange? I know.

Yes, it is fast food, but it's some darn good fast food. I love how crispy the fried chicken is. And the siopao is super fluffy and tasty. My hubby also ordered the sweet and sour pork and let me try it. So tasty with a bit of a crunch (not soft and soggy like other sweet and sour pork I've had in the past). I'm always excited to get this yummy fast food treat! Great spot for quick food fix.

One thing I hope Filipinos, and the culture, would change for the better when it comes to food service is the mindset of skimming on how much you give, to a point where you barely serve/give anything. How do you support and showcase your culture to others when it's always this way. Chowking is not even a local small business, but a corporate franchise. So I don't understand why I would only get 2pcs of napkins with a huge order...and if I ask for condiments or more napkins, they hand me 1pc of condiment and 3pcs of napkins. If I was working at any of these huge corporations, I would be regularly giving away a reasonable amount of whatever the customers need...because 1. It promotes for better business 2. It promotes your culture. It's the same for 2 out of every 9 Filipino establishments...you order sinigang from a Turo-turo and they give you 80% soup, 15% veggies, and a piece of meat. Then what's even more annoying nowadays is they'll charge you more for it because "inflation"...they found another way to make more money while giving less. What about we stand by and back up our claim about Filipinos being Hospitable and hard working for once.

The fried chicken lunch combo was good. The halo-halo was a disappointment- too much chunk of ice that didn't melt for a long time. The cup was not see-thru so can't see the ingredients.

I ordered Black pepper and mushroom lauriat. When I checked online this menu includes Pancit. But when I got my order, they didn’t put pancit. It was just rice and the black pepper and mushroom with a copious amount of black pepper. All I could taste is the pepper. I couldn’t even finish it.

Chowking and I had a long history together. When I remember my college days, it would always include chowking and the delicious siomai we loved. That's 30 plus years ago in the Philippines. The halohalo picture on the window called me and my sister in this chowking branch because we're in the height of this heatwave. Super excited to try it. The counter person said we don't know if we have ice left. Turned out they still had enough to come up with 2 more orders. Just glad to have anything cold to cool down from the heat. While I go to the rest room to wash my hands, I noticed the hand dryer wasn't working, no paper towels and the sewage odor my sister and I smelled from the counter was coming from the toilet. I went out to tell the counter Personel about the broken hand dryer. My sister in the meantime already got our orders and told me she dropped her fork on the floor. So I asked the cashier for another fork. Thinking she did not hear me because I was wearing my mask, I repeated my request in a louder voice. The cashier seemed annoyed and said just a moment while the forks are just right beside her. She continued on ignoring me, good thing the person she was talking to handed it to me. I was tempted to go around the counter and get it for myself if she will make me wait longer. I also told the other person who handed me the fork that the hand dryer in the toilet wasn't working. The looks I got were so sharp. Have these employees ever had any training on customer service? Just give me a damn fork ! I so happened to see the cashier at seafood city doing her shopping so it seemed she was signing out of her shift. If that's the case, it doesn't warrant to keep your customer waiting. So sorry that this chowking's demise in star counts are due to the staff that doesn't seem to care. Bottom line: keep your staff well trained in customer service , keep up with the cleanliness of your toilet and eating areas. There's so many new places that offer new menus and attractions so if the management don't pay attention, chowking will continue to garner 1-2 stars only

Friendly and fast service! The restaurant was clean and the quality of the food was great! Only criticism will be the noodles. Were a bit overcooked, but overall great! Had the 2 combos with wonton soup and the beef noodle soup with buns and halo halo.
