Save your money. We tried it and although the food was ok, the 45 min wait after ordering wasn't pleasant but due to the size of the crowd, it was tolerated. The nasty attitude of the employees was as bad as the nastiness and cleanliness of the store. People were standing around everywhere, sitting on tables and the trash buns waiting, acting like it was a social nightclub rather than a restaurant. The staff was RUDE and if it was my store, they would have been fired on the spot. NEVER AGAIN.

So, I went to Dave's Hot Chicken in Appleton, WI. I ordered 4 things, I only got 2 things back. I didn’t check before I came home. I called twice and no response, and no voicemail box for me to leave a message. The customer service was great, but this was not a good first time experience.

The food here has multiple levels of spice for all. The walls consist of many murals and other interesting things to look at while you are waiting for your food. The food is delicious and I would definitely recommend eating here if you are hungry.

Very good quality chicken, the meat is tender and juicy. The serving sizes are quite large as well.

I ordered the chicken strips with a slider and it was by far the worst chicken I’ve ever had in my entire life. Not only was it expensive, but I had to wait 40 minutes to get my order. The seasonings on top of the chicken were spicy, but when I took a bite of the chicken, it was extremely dry and bland! This place is overrated and prices are inflated more than what Dave’s is worth.
