Best Malasadas in the Bay Area!! Delicious fresh malasadas with variety of seasonal fillings. Soft fresh bread and their fillings are flavorful and not too sweet. They update their flavors every 2 weeks. Friendly attentive service. Small cafe ambiance. They also serve coffee.

Definitely a hidden gem so close to my home! Taste really good especially the fillings and flavor ideas. It had some kind of crispy sugar coated shell and was super fluffy inside. I personally prefer less fluffy but all in all they taste 100% delicious and after researching into their past seasonal flavors, I decided to go to this place more often in the future!

I came here on a Saturday a bit after they opened at 10am and there’s a bit of a line, maybe about 10 minutes of waiting. Lots of parking in the plaza so no issues there.I don’t know how they do it but the doughnuts here are delicious and don’t feel super heavy! The dough is super fluffy and light, not at all greasy. The filling is also a great amount of sweetness. I got the mango sago and the pandan sticky rice doughnuts. I preferred the latter more because it’s a little less sweet but both were delicious. The mango one even has pieces of fresh mango inside! Will come back again!

You know a place is good when the young kids are working their. This place has amazing fluffy malasadas. Their selection is creative and unique. The flavors are awesome. The chive savory malasadas was to die for. Their service is amazing and patient. The line does get wild. They do run out of donuts.

This is a very unique spot with equally unique flavors! I love that their flavors rotate. We had the mango pomelo sago, creme brulee, durian, and black sesame donuts. The fillings were all delicious! The donut itself felt a bit dry, but we still enjoyed the whole box. The shop itself is very clean and well decorated. Seating is limited with only a few small tables outside. We barely had to wait on a Thursday morning, about 30 minute after they opened. But even so, the service is very quick so I imagine a line would move fast.

delicious and well worth the drive over the Dumbarton on a rainy day. I love the chewy airy doughnut dough and was able to order a few without filling. Highly recommend!

The girl at the counter was so friendly and engaging. I liked the chocolate praline donut the most, it was incredibly rich and decadent. Filled donuts are not really my thing but I thoroughly enjoyed the savory onion and chive one. However while the crunchy crème brûlée sugar was good I didn't enjoy the donut, but again that's just personal preference. My kids ate the s'more one and actually the chocolate filling was pretty good. I'd be back for the ones I know I would enjoy.

They sell out really fast. When I got there they only had the banana flavor left. I was expecting it to be really sweet but it wasn't! It was the perfect amt of sweetness . And I think they put a little bit of Trader Joe's cookie butter at the bottom of the dough... well, at least that's what it tasted like to me. Would love to try more flavors

Lots of parking in a predominantly Filipino shopping area. Delicious donuts and they're always changing them up so you got something to look forward to every time you come. Service is fast, packed nicely in little boxes. I like the freshwater they offer with orange slices in it instead of lemon. It's a nice twist and always like to refresh the pallet after eating a doughnut. Cute store front with an upscale bakery ambiance.

A friend brought me some donuts from here. Best things have had in a long time. Fluffy, great flavors!

I wandered in near closing time because the line was not out the door for once. The owners were super friendly and helpful—a literal mom and pop (and daughter?) shop.I'm simple and tend to not go for the fancy flavor combinations, so I wasn't sure how I would like these, but OMG, the flavors were so well-balanced, and despite the amount of things going on, they all worked together without being too gloopy, cloyingly sweet, or heavy.

Family owned business. The lines are long and the drive out to Union City was well worth it. Price tad high but the quality of the donuts is worth it. The only reason for giving this place 4 stars is the very long line, stood for almost 30 minutes to get my sweet cravings fulfilled. #zaisha_eats_travels
