What happened to the Puto?! It used to be my absolute favorite thing to buy and I would come all the way from Oakland to get my fix every now and then. My husband tried to surprise me and bring me home some recently. It was not at all what I am used to purchasing. These were huge! Close to the size of a baseball and the flavor was not there. They were dry and lacked the flavor I love so much. So saddened I have no idea where to purchase puto anymore!

The food is good, but very pricey as the reputation goes for Goldilocks. The service was okay, it just took a really long time to get to my order. I was surprised at how small the portion size was for plastic containers of food from the buffet-like food in the front (I had ordered menudo/afritada), and while I understand that, during the pandemic, many small businesses, and even larger chains had increased their prices, but this was very very overpriced, which made me really disappointed. The fresh lumpia was fresh and my family really liked it a lot.The empanadas were small, but filling. The BBQ sticks were about triple the price you would be able to get it at the fresh produce market on Saturdays locally in Union City, $5 per stick vs &3 for $5 is a big difference. My family thought they overdressed each barbecue stick with too much sauce. It was sweet and not too much fat, I just thought it was again way overpriced. I have to say that most people come here or cakes and other sweets and recommend it best to order those instead of food unless you are prepared to pay a premium.

I still love the choco and mocha roll. Unfortunately their dishes have gone down in quality. Taste is not the same, sometimes tasteless. The only thing i order now from the food section is Ham durong the holidays and only during the beginning to make sure i get a fresh batch. One time i got old ham that was already slimy.Service is good. They are always friendly.

I have made about 6 attempts to resolve this through emails and have made about 8 attempts with FedEx. I just wont do business with Goldilocks again. I believe there are other companies that would like my business such as Red Ribbon and Valerio's.

I bought 2 fresh lumpia , dinakdakan and sago gulaman that cost almost $40.00. The sago gulaman was bitter so I went back to the store to tell the manager( I’m assuming because she was wearing her uniform). She asked me instead if I bought gulaman before and told me that the other customer earlier did not complained about it. So instead of asking her to give me back my $5 or at least half of what I paid , I told her to just keep it. Arguing for $5 is not worth it ! This is how it is to some Filipino restaurants/stores( I’m Filipino) but they give customers hard time when they complain about their food / items. I’m $5 poorer and Goldilocks is $5 richer. Very bad customer service!

Zero star, ordered half tray Kaldereta for Christmas Eve once it cooled down the next morning it was moldy and watery, looks like it was previously frozen. Please see attached photos. Never will order from this place anymore

I've ordered several cakes from Goldilocks over the last 15 years; from their San Jose and Milpitas location when they were open. I ordered a specialty cake from the Union City location last week. We picked up the cake late afternoon on Friday for a Saturday afternoon party I was throwing for my Grandsons 1st Birthday. The cake looked gorgeous, however, the actual cake lacked flavor and was stale and hard as though it was a week old. I was so embarrassed after insisting that we order from them. Luckily we bought a cake from Safeway as a back up, which was super fresh and really delicious. This was unlike any Goldilocks cake I've ever had. Next time I'll try their Concord location in hopes of better luck. As for the service...mediocre, but I didn't care as long as the cake was good.

Great cakes. Mini empanadas are filled nice and are crispy. Pork buns are amazing. I have never had a bad experience with anything I have ever bought from here.

Never again! The food was still good. No problem there. The issue was they are WAY OVERPRICED and nickel and diming their customer. Where we went was in Goldilocks in Concord. So fine, they were expensive but we really have a taste for fresh lumpia, dinuguan and lechon kawali. So we got them with portion like a small cup. But when we asked for water, they don't have any and pointed us to their bottled water which is $3 a piece! And to top it all, their utensils are super flimsy, it broke couple of times. C'mon now. Really Goldilocks? So I won't be back for a very long time. No wonder other restaurants beat them. Greed is their downfall.

Love the food here. It's a little shop inside the market. Very friendly staff. It's better to order in person, it is cheaper and faster than online.

Love their Halo Halo. It's the best. I wish they open a closer location to Dublin. They have other attractive food, but I just so in love with their Halo Halo.
