Paid tips in cash and they still charged me an extra $5 on my credit card. $5 tip for a $30 meal is more than 15%. Boss refuses to admit his mistake, claiming he checked the camera which is completely irrelevant. They saw we were students and took advantage. Had to call my bank to dispute that charge. Shouldn’t even tip them at all.

The food is amazing here! Best in the Bay. And the Hot & Sour Soup may be the best I’ve had. Ever. Perfect. Expect to sweat out those toxins after a bowl or two.

Spicy, flavorful, strong flavors unique dishes. Order with QR code. A little tricky to order without pics and the translation isn’t completely accurate. Inside is nicely decorated. Got the sour fish extra ten bucks for the snakehead fish fillet as recommended by the staff. String beans. Spicy lamb. And house noodles. Would return.

Came here with extended family of 10 members, ranging from toddlers to seniors. Called ahead to make a reservation and they had the table ready.Was a perfect family style experience, with fast service and delicious food. Price was also very fair for quantity of food provided. Would highly recommend dining in.

My family goes here all the time. The food is authentic. The price is excellent. My mom always nags the people here telling them that they aren't charging enough for the food. She is right though :D. It's not really a café. It is a full sit down restaurant. I forgot to add food pictures because we always dig in too fast. The food is not greasy at all. It's fresh and fantastic.

Some food came out cold and not hot. Our favorite were the braised pork with preserved vegetables, fried intestine with green onions appetizer, and pineapple shrimp (similar to walnut shrimp), garlic pork chop and peppered beef with onion sizzling pot. The rest are bland and just meh like fish tofu preserves vegetables soup, salted fish chicken fried rice, crab egg tofu, Hong Kong seafood crispy noodle. Would like to try their country stir fried pork next time and crispy mushrooms.

Come Back again try their new Dim Sum! XLB is very juicy and fresh. Shrimp shumai you can taste the big real shrimp. And shumai meat is tender and flavorful. Still best Chinese restaurant in Union city!

We discovered this place during COVID has fell in love ever since! Very authentic hunan cuisine, food is balanced, flavorful but not greasy! The service was wonderful! The staff were attentive and very friendly. Best yet, all of their dishes are reasonably priced, large portion. Can't ask for more! 10/10 satisfied!
