The restaurant seems to be closing at 5:00pm now , I have been by 4 x to get Vietnamese sandwich's for supper in the last month . What's going on folks , You are right next store to Starbucks , Should be plenty of foot traffic if you are open & Decent quantities of food in the steam tables

Nice and clean on the inside but the food looked old as hell. Also found a hair in my rice at the end ugh. If I wasn't starving I wouldn't have ate it all but damn this is my first and last time here, Guess it was a bad sign when it was a peak lunch hour and not a soul inside.

The egg rolls were nice but the quality of the fried rice was not that good, given they're was real pork involved, the rice just did not have a appealing flavor, Panda Express was a million milestones better than this restaurant overall.

I should have known better when I walked in and couldn't find the menu anywhere. I remember they had banh mi. They said they only have 3 flavors (not a good sign). How about a lunch plate? The carbs looked really dried out (another not a good sign). I went for it and got a 1-item combo with charsiu pork. The girl was seriously stingy with the fried rice and the overcooked charsiu. If it wasn't due to the fact that it's almost 4pm and I hadn't had lunch yet, I would have really thrown it out. I hope I don't get food poisoning. The food seriously looks like it was from yesterday. I paid $10 for this....???

Stopped by on our drive from San Francisco back home to San Luis Obispo, CA... Food was great and the staff was super friendly.

Have always loved their veggie egg rolls. Thank you for keeping the same recipe as from you were in Newark, CA

I went here about a week ago and the lady who worked there was very nice. Only complaint was the food was very pricey. For two meals which included rice and two sides, a beer and a water, was about 36 bucks. There wasn’t a great selection of food choices. Mainly only pork(and I don’t eat pork). There wasn’t any sweet n sour chicken, garlic chicken, or orange chicken.....I was stuck with the beef and broccoli and the beef was so chewy that i couldn’t even eat it. The egg rolls and chowmein was great!!! The price and selections wasnt worth it. The inside was clean and like I mentioned the lady who was serving was really sweet.

I went to this location on Sunday to buy some egg rolls around 10:25 and they were closed. I had called on Saturday and was told no problem with getting 2 dozen. No service means no business.

This review is for their grilled pork sandwich, the other food in warming tray did not look appetizing. The sandwich was decent ingredients seemed fresh, bread was light in texture and taste I did ask them to make it spicy but all they did was put 2 jalapeños on top which weren't spicy. Place is clean staff is friendly.

Overpriced for what you get. Flavor was just mediocre. Food was obviously old. Just disgusted at this wasted lunch experience. We should have noticed that nobody was in the restaurant at 12:30...we also should have noticed that the food was old. Nothing "king" about this spot. Yuck.

I hate to crap on a place that's already under reviewer-scrutiny with low ratings as of 2/8/19, but in this case it's well deserved. This place is horrible. I went there at around 5 on a Sunday and the food in the ready to serve counter was lackluster. I wouldn't have minded the shame-worthy display if I'd shown up 15 minutes before closing, but it was prime dinner time. This is like a Panda Express type place, for the most part, where you get a 2 item plates to go with with supposedly higher quality ingredients or some full menu items. Well, if you've ever ordered a full dish of anything here, you've been bamboozled! There's nothing here that is good. I took some of the stale, over heat-lamped offerings available to go and they were just as disgusting as I feared. I got a 2 item plate with half fried rice and half chow mein with whatever scraps they had left sitting under a heat lamp, Orange Chicken and Grilled Chicken. I also had some eggrolls. I threw away most of it. It was inedible just for fear of my health. The only edible items were the eggrolls, although they still were old and cold, and the side items, rice and chow mein. And that's a generous assessment because the rice and chow mein are better EVERYWHERE ELSE, including Panda. I threw all the chicken away after a few bites, I hope I don't die of disentary eating what I managed to swallow, an I hope this place is gone soon. I never say stuff like this on Yelp, but this place has no business serving food. Disgusting. The REAL King Eggroll restaurant is in San Jose on Berryessa. I'd rather drive 25 minutes and have their food than throw away this this trash and 14 DOLLARS.

It says your open til 9. It's 6:29 and the lady said "Next time come earlier," Uh, there will unfortunately be no next time. Thanks but no thanks. Listen, I would come earlier if my life allowed me to. But nah, I have to go to work to earn a living, go home real quick to walk my dogs, then strategically inject my insulin and think about my food that I can get to in 15 minutes (that according to yelp says open till 9), only to come to a Loves King Eggroll with a lady saying and locking the door as I reach for the handle "Next time come earlier."

They use to be in Newark but moved to Union City. We thought we would stop and try them. Boy if I could give them a half a star I would. The rice was dry and tasteless. The chow mien was so bland. We also had the cold dry orange chicken. We also ordered a pork and chicken eggroll. What a huge disappointment, you could not tell the difference. The dipping sauce was so watered down it was like pink water. Years ago King Eggroll was the place to go, NOT NOW KEEP ON TRAVELING .

If I could give this place a negative starts I would. When I first walked in no one was in sight to help, food looked old, and when I finally got some help the worker was listening to music while she was taking my order. $17 for a plate? No thank you. Don't know how this place is still open.

Do not recommend! Food looks cold! And dry. We commented to the Chinese lady and she blamed the server. She ended up giving us free eggrolls. But even the eggrolls where kind of on the cold side. Bad experience. Not coming here again
