I am always comforted when the weather is cold and I can come here for a steaming hot bowl of noodles. I usually get a beef noodle soup, sometimes with a plate of cucumbers or some pork dumplings. It's a small, simple place. Service is good. My only complaint is that they serve hot water in styrofoam cups. I am all for hot water, but not a fan of the styrofoam.

Not my type of cuisine. Menu mainly consisted of noodle soups and like 2-3 selections of noodles without soup. Restaurant was empty with only me and my friend being there. However the service is great

If you haven't had Mifen, it is a rice noodle, more akin to a spaghetti made of rice in terms of size. Nicely springy and chewy. Perfect for the noodle soups here. And of course if they are not your thing there is always the option of flour noodles. Bu to highly reccomend you try the Mifen for the first time! The soups here are absolutely perfect. Beautiful bone broth full of flavour. The bowls have your choice of meats, and various vegetables, and pickled vegetables. A very standard Chinese noodle soup! There are a small number of tables to sit and enjoy. And the service has been friendly and helpful. This has been my new favourite place to eat recently!

How come no one talks about the dang TINGLY/NUMBING AFTER TASTE? I got my beef bowl in "spicy" which was absolutely ZERO SPICE other than the terrible effect of the, I assume peppercorn after taste? I ended up adding like 5 spoons of the chili oil. The first taste of the soup was exciting! The noodles & meat was excellent. I was like oh yeah this is it! Except it wasn't! The after taste started to kick in & my tongue was just completely tingly/burning! Also the pickled veggies did not cut it for me.All in all, If you enjoy a tingly/numb tongue or if you're curious about it, then give this place a try..

Good Mifen(rice noodle), I love the Mifen with lamb a lot. Aged cabbage brought some good old taste while I was still living in the village. The Chinese style yogurt is good to couple with the spicy soup, and when you spend more than $35, you get a free cup too.

It's the first time I came here to try it. It surprised me. The taste is very authentic. The meat is very tender. The sauce is very tasty! There are a lot of cold dishes and snacks. I will try lamb with skin next time. It is worth going back!!!!!

Business hour says close at 8PM, we got here at 7:35PM and the owners says we cannot dine in because they are closed. If they have incorrect business hours they should at least update correct business hour on Google or Yelp.

Asked for tips at the end (when in reality, they didn't do much) and the cashier looked intimidating, so my sister was forced to tip some more. The cashier was the same person who took our order and didn't offer enough time for my family to decide on what we want. The food was disgusting and tasted stale. Do not go here.

I had a really delicious and hearty bowl of noodle soup here. This was the original beef mifen, and it was one of the best noodle soup I've had, good value and no msg aftertaste. I've always wanted to try the noodles from GuiZhou HuaXi, because I've heard all about how it is one of the most well-known and delicious noodles in all of China. As a noodle soup lover, I had to try this out, and I'm glad I did. I want to emphasize the tenderness and flavors of the braised beef, and the perfect texture of the mifen that really outshine in the entire composition of the dish. Before trying, I personally preferred to not have the pickled veggies; but afterwards, I really didn't mind, and even thought they do pretty good in the harmony of the overall robust flavors and textures, like a piece fitting perfectly in finishing the puzzle. I'll visit again for another bowl of delicious HuaXi beef mifen!

I ordered beef mifen. It’s just soso. The noodle and beef is not in best flavor. Price is reasonable

The service is really bad. For dine in, we had to go to the cashier desk to order and pay. No drinking water served. With this, they still expected tipping. The worse part is, there was hair in the noodle soup. Disgusting. Avoid this restaurant!

Originally planned to eat at Din Ding Dumpling House (also in the same place) but after having passed by Mifen101 many times before, we decided to give this place a try. We were the first customers of the day and the food came out very quickly (literally within five minutes of ordering). Dining area is quite small but I wonder if most of their customers order takeout. We got two bowls of non-spicy mifen and two of their house-made drinks. The bowls were packed with lots of meat and also some pickled vegetables to counter the heavy taste of the noodles and meat. The broth didn't have a lot of flavor but I'm not sure if that was impacted by us ordering it non-spicy. They have a variety of other dishes besides mifen (like dumplings) so I plan to return to try those out as well. Overall good food and worth a try if you're in the mood for some noodles.

I came here with no expectations after the place next door was not compatible with apple pay. Well let me say that it was an excellent turn of events. While I haven't quite narrowed in on the flavor yet after just one visit, I can say it's plenty different from other Asian noodle soups. The broth was light and didn't overload your tastebuds. The beef was the center of the flavor and very well done. The most unique thing was the rice noodles, which sets it apart from other soups. With these you absolutely must eat them in a timely manner or they will get too mushy, especially as the food is served almost too hot. Almost. I dug in right away and as long as you have an appetite you'll finish in time before to rice noodle countdown. I added vinegar to the ladle a few times to see if I liked it and decided to go for it, due to the delicate balance of the mifen it does alter it quite a lot of you add too much, try in small doses. Overall I really liked it, it isn't greasy which is a big deal for me and the portion is filling.
