I ordered chicken tikka masaala first time from them,i always knew that most of the indian restaurants are bad in bay area but still tried this one because they have a good indian sweets product. O Gosh! never order any non veg item from them, they are the worst. My chicken tikka masaala was loaded with salt.I called them, they told me to bring the dish back and I started to wonder if i would have done this to American restaurant they would have credited my account but these people want me to bring the dish back...Anyway way I brought the dish back and they told me to wait for 10 minutes ,they will make it again. After 10 mins,I got the dish, took it back to my house, tasted it again, still loaded with salt.Instead of crediting me for my dish, they just manipulated the dish and give it back to me so sad.The difference between customer survice of western restaurants and Indian Punjabi Restaurants.

We stopped by Rajas Sweet for a quick bite. We ordered chole bhatura and dahi bhalle. Both were fresh and tasted good. They did justice to the Indian flavors. They have a wide variety of Indian sweets and snacks. A must-try for anyone who is fond of them.

Raja Sweets in Union City is a hidden gem! The gulab jamun is perfectly soft and sweet. The samosas are crispy and full of flavor with a nice little kick of spice. I also tried the veggie biryani, and it was amazing— perfectly spiced, and packed with veggies.

The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you pick something new. The store is clean and inviting, making it a great place for a quick treat or to grab some food to take home.

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

They have some good mithai. That said, their vegetable samosay are amazing! I'd go as far as saying they have some of the most authentic samosay in the bay. Prices are super fair. Definitely check them out.

We took the gulab jamun and the jamun sandwich. Both tasted fine. The gulab jamun wasn't dipped in sugar syrup and was more on the dry side. I would have preferred the usual syrupy one.

Here you have to pick up a box, wear a single use glove and collected your sweets into a box. There are no names and ingredients indicated. So you have to ask about every sweet.
I got a blue box and a box of jallabi. I paid just over $50 for both.

Guys please avoid going to this shop. BETTER GO TO “APNI MANDI FREMONT “. All the sweets they sell are very old and smelly. I trashed all the sweets.

Restaurant smells, chairs are tables are dirty, waiters have an attitude - it seems they are obliging you. Food quality is moderate.

I've eaten from here multiple times and its always great! The fresh samosas are the best - delicious and perfectly seasoned and about the only affordable thing in the Bay Area. The chicken tikka masala and paneer pakora are two of my favorites as well. Some how the rice is always so fluffy - its a simple thing but nice to see they focus on the basics and do them well.
