I go with my wife to this nice place many times a year! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go there routinely. The food is great, the team is helpful and the price is decent. I enjoy meeting in this restaurant to have a tasty meal.

Love this place , family basically. We go here all the time it's our home away from home. Food is always super good, just like Home-cooked food I miss it actually since pandemic. Wish I could give like 20, five star reviews for this place.

This spot is the only place I've tried so far with Uyghur cuisine, which is a predominately Muslim group that resides in the Xinjiang area of Western China. If you're familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine, there will be some similarities. They have skewers and flatbreads. However, there are other dishes that learn more towards an East Asian influence. The dishes we get here are the lamb skewers which are absolutely amazing and the dish that's called "big plate chicken" in Chinese. The lamb skewers come juicy with a mild spicy kick. The "big plate chicken" or Da Pan Ji is an umami rich dish that's accented with stir fried bell peppers. I especially love the thick, flat noodles it comes with which are delightfully chewy. The one bad thing I didn't like was their flatbread, which was clearly reheated in the microwave as it hardened and cooled quickly. Overall this is a hidden gem in the East Bay and its a good way to educate yourself about the food of a minority group of Chinese that's being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party.

Loved the food but when the cooks were lounging, they were not wearing masks in front of me.? only the server was wearing a mask. Not sure I would return after seeing that. Lamb kebabs, stir fried noodles, and black fungus mushroom were very good otherwise.

Great food, a little bit greasy and spicy for some dishes. Other than that, food is awesome!

I was a traveler passing through the area and wow was I surprised to try uyghurian food. The food was absolutely amazing, so tasteful and just outright delicious. I will definitely be back in Hayward just to eat their food. Side note: they are pricey while the portions are on the smaller side. That's the only reason why I didn't give a 5 out of 5. Over all, very good food.

The kabobs are amazing! The meat fresh and tender. The seasonings perfect. I need to order something else from here. It seems I'm stuck on the kebabs since they are so delicious.

In Eastbay we should feel very blessed to have Sama right in our area. The food is unique and shouldn't be considered Chinese or Halal/Mediterranean food but it's own thing that stands on its own legs. There aren't a lot of chinese-muslim/xinjiang/uyghur food offerings in the bay area, did a fast scan and southbay+eastbay+SF+oakland saw less than 10 of them total! This is a place to definitely try and you'll find a great food experience for a great price.Located in the big plaza with din ding dumpling, from Decoto turn in around Burger King and Sama will be on the right side of the plaza. Our family ordered these dishes today:-Polo / Polov (doordash name), saw this on the Sama site, beautiful slow cooked mutton on a bed of yellow rice with carrots and raisins. Was looking forward to this the most and loved it. I saw some other people saying the mutton was bland but I really like a clean, simple taste so this was perfect. It has that nice lamb flavor and isn't overly game-y, the rice is amazing with a combo I've never tasted before but works very well.-Meat Pie, ground beef with onion in a flat pastry, the crust is excellent and our family enjoyed it as an appetizer. Leftovers were great in the toaster-oven and easy to heat up because its thin.-Gan Bian Stir Fry Noodle, lots of vegetable and loved the hand-pulled thick noodles. They were chewy and delicious and went very well with the meat and vegetables.-Chicken wings and Uyghur style Nan we got for the kid, the chicken is spiced well, maybe too hot for the kid but he still at it. The nan had a unique blend of ingredients in the center and my wife loved it.

Hands down best Uyghur food I've had in Bay Area. Has a real authentic taste which feels homemade. And it tastes exactly how it does in China.

Let me tell you about this place they have an amazing plov and bomb shush kebab. I was here for lunch with buddy of mine and reminded us of back home. Service is fairy fast.

I ordered the Merwayit Chop and lamb kebabs. Both were outstanding. The Merwayit Chop tastes like leghman with chopped noodles. It came with lots of vegetables (bell peppers, onions, etc.) I love the feel of the bits of dense, chopped noodles. It tastes like larger, heavier rice pasta. The kebabs were perfectly grilled and seasoned. They must have a secret recipe for the spice rub. My first stop after the lockdown is fully lifted.
