I've eaten from Sheng Kee irregularly for the past decade. It's always pretty good, although whether it's worth going to over something like 85°C I don't know. Had many birthday cakes from here as well, always convenient and tasted like a solid cake. Great place.
The bakery had a nice variety of options, which was great to see. We tried two of their pastries – mango and strawberry. They were decent but didn’t quite stand out. One downside is that they don't accept credit card payments for purchases under $10, which can be inconvenient since many people don’t carry cash these days.
What a pleasant surprise it was to find this Chinese bakery. The place is clean and cozy, and the service is excellent; all the staff are very friendly. This time, I decided to try some of their savory options for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. The BBQ pastry and chicken pie were warm, like they were freshly made, with soft and flavorful bread.
