Good filipino bakery items. Plus all the other sweet delicacies you find in the Philippines . They don't use preservatives in any of their baked goods so eat them right away or put them in the fridge to keep them from getting moldy. Most people come here thinking they'll only buy one thing end up buying more

Thank you to all the staff of Valerio's for the delicious food, the great service, and the feeling at home atmosphere. I always love this place! That's why I'd do a whole lot of panic buying whenever I'm in the area.

This is the place to get Filipino sweets and desserts. The baked goods here are always a hit in my household. I typically get these when we are craving some Filipino sweets/breads. We typically get the ube sticky rice and muffin pastry with cheese. Ahhh so good! We get in out and quickly and we never have to wait too long however sometimes items get sold out rather quickly.

We always buy their pandesal, the last one we bought was too airy and lacked flavor (typically what happens when you start to try to reduce the ingredients to save money). I suggest their ownership should just raise the price but don't mess with the ingredients!

Just purchased Pichi pichi today 12/11/2023-came home to discover it’s rancid before the expiration date. Tried calling the store but I guess the line has been disconnected.

Moldy products sold here!! I have seen other reviews complaining about mold on products so it seems to be a known issue. I would think management has also heard of the issues and attempted to prevent bad products from being put on the shelves. Unfortunately Valerio's is still selling moldy products, as the pimento bread I bought on Nov 17, 2023 had fuzz growing on it! Avoid Valerio's and spend your hard-earned money across the street at Luisa and Sons and buy pinoy bread there instead. It will definitely be fresher and edible!

I went back today and realized the empanadas are behind the counter! I was so used to seeing them in a package that I didn't think that this location had them behind the counter. So many things to choose from, but today I stuck with what I came for -- the chicken empanadas and cheese pimiento bulilit. Yum!

I like that they stock a variety of fresh-baked goods including different types of bread, pastries, sticky rice sweets, etc. 5/5 The store is very small and cramped so be prepared to have your personal space invaded. I was intrigued by the Senyorita bread because from the description of the filling "butter, sugar, milk" I was hoping I would find a bread similar to the type we used to buy from an Oakland Chinese bakery. They also had Spanish bread which has honey instead. I decided to get the Senyorita bread. I was disappointed because after two bites I could not find the center. Upon closer inspection it seems that the cavity has collapsed and is a very thin layer close to the bottom. You wouldn't even know there was filling unless you peel apart the bottom, sort of like pleural space in the lung - you shouldn't be able to find it. O.o 2/5 So that was less than spectacular. I also tried the banana fritter aka turon. It had a good satisfying crunch on the outside because of the sugar coating, but it was so dry inside. I couldn't tell if there was jackfruit. Not enjoyable. 2/5 The biko ube was good however. Just like how my grandma would make it, but more rich and sweet. She would call it suman though. The ube flavor was indistinctive. 5/5 I grew up on puto from International Market and the type of puto here looks almost the same but more dense so I did not purchase it. N/A Finally, I tried out the guava pastry. It looks nice, I like the sanding sugar or large sugar crystals on the outside. After one bite though, I am ambivalent. I felt like there was too much filling and the guava was an over-powering goop oozing out like lava. I thought there would be cream cheese to balance the flavor, but I don't have the desire to find out if it's somewhere deep inside. I think I'll save my energy and appetite to just make it myself. 3/5 For payment, if you want to use credit card or Apple Pay you need to purchase at least $10.

I purchased the Spanish bread, which was delicious, and the plain ensaymada, also very good but a little too thick. I go to this bakery from time to time when I grave Filipino pastries. I like their bike too, reminding me of my Grandpa who made this for the family during our hometown fiesta and holidays. The cashiers are kind and friendly. It's only a small bakery but has lots of assorted items. The smell of the freshly baked goods draws you to the store, too.

I always buy pandesal cheese here because the maccheese is delicious, but since January '23, they hardly put cheese on the bread. It's ok. I hope that the price has gone up, but what happened is that they have reduced the cheese. I hope so. Did you raise the price for the ingredients? I hope that's the case. I just commented. Even my other co workers noticed it. I hope the taste will come back. I don't know if I bought Pandesal cheese. The baker took pity on him, so he sprinkled a little cheese on it. Shout out to the owner, please don't cut it because you are raising the price.

A true Bay Area gem. Located right next to seafood city, you know this bakery will be good. It's a small Bakeshop that is filled to the top with all your favorite or potential favorite filipino baked goods. You can never go wrong with their ube cheese rolls, pack of 6 for $10, take it home and air fry at 325 for 5 minutes and you'll end up back here again the next day.

This location is small but has huge selection of a Filipino baked goods. Their Pan De Sal bread is famous and you can request a hot one if you happen to be at the right time when they just come out from the oven. Super delicious and piping hot. They also sell more than just baked goods like pastilas which is a sweet candy. Prices are reasonable and they are located next to Seafood City so plenty of parking. All in all, good place to buy your Filipino baked goods. Cheers!
