I've loved this place since before their Fremont location addition and am not surprised to see them expand because the ramen here is THE BEST! I've had ramen at many places but Yokohama continues to be my favorite. The broth here is amazing but don't even get me started on the pork. The pork here is heavenly and melts in your mouth, I always ask for extra pork. The ramen noodles here are great and what I like about Yokohama is you can adjust your noodle firmness. Ajisen Ramen noodles are a joke. The egg here is also always cooked perfectly. My go to ramens are the Jigoku Spicy Ramen and the Black Garlic Ramen. I also love their Karaage with Yuzu Sauce!! I always have to order it as an appetizer anytime I come here. Another thing they added that wasn't always an option was the ability to add Soft Shell Crab to your ramen as well as up the size of your ramen which I have loved having the option to do. I've only ordered take out from here once because personally I prefer to eat ramen at the restaurant, but the take out experience was fine. Dining in has always been a good experience, service is fast and the staff is great. Only complaint I've had is that they can be skimpy with their spinach topping, a few times I got 1 spinach leaf.

Got ramen for my lunch and found bugs in my order. I'm pretty sure I did not order bugs in my soup. I called to let them know and that I wanted a refund, they made me come all the way back just to get the refund. Sooo disgusting!!!

On 7/7/2020 I found a cockroach in my ramen. I consumed my entire meal to find a piece of what I though was black garlic that turned out to be a roach. This was an awful experience and I hope the management and owners of the business take care of this problem immediately. You're serving the community. Cleanliness is key. I contacted the restaurant for a refund. They granted the refund without hesitation and for that I am thankful. You have great service and good food, but please take care of the infestation.

It genuinely pains me to write this review because this has been my favorite ramen spots in the Bay Area for years and I've always thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.. Yesterday, I ordered my usual, to-go of course due to COVID, everything was going great... I had been craving ramen for the longest time and I was so stoked to finally get to eat some!! We were enjoying out big bowls of the Tonkotsu ramen when out from under my noodles surfaced the half carcass of a dead cockroach.... I LOST MY MARBLES... My immediate reaction was to spit my food out and try to hold back the crippling urge to vomit.. I seriously couldn't believe it.... A COCKROACH... I examine my noodles further and in doing so, the butt of the cockroach laid tucked away amongst the noodles.... I WAS BEYOND GROSSED OUT... I struggled coming to this decision to write this review because as stated before, this was my absolute favorite ramen location in all the Bay Area but after my experience, I will never trust eating at Yokohama Iekei Ramen every again... Somethings you just can't look past... COCKROACH IN THE FOOD, is one of those.. I called back immediately after my discovery. The woman who took my inital order answered, even though it was 3 minutes past their closing time (she did answer to let me know they had in fact closed). She was very apologetic and offered to remake my food. I kindly declined and requested a refund of my order. She agreed and we ended the call after she took my info down. I'm writing this review in HOPES that this will NEVER happen to anyone else. Many of the times that we dined in at Yokohama Iekei locations, we would see young families with small children enjoying their meals as well and universe forbid a small, unknowing child should eat a cockroach in their ramen! PLEASE BE MORE VIGILANT OF THE FOOD YOU PUT OUT INTO THE WORLD...

service sucks. ordered takeout and got here at 2:26pm when they are supposed to close at 2:30pm and found out they close earlier than their intended time. called the owner and she told me they closed and proceeded to hang up on me when i wasn't finished talking to her. never coming here again. horrible service.

I LOVE coming by for a bowl. The tasty, the consistency of the broth, the service and they've never been hit or miss. Black Garlic, Jigoku and Spicy Misou are awesome! I even steered off the regular and tried out their Chicken Katsu Curry and it was super delish! I can taste the care and love they put in their food and that's probably why I keep coming back!

I guess it is just a wrong timing, i want to order food to go. When i enter inside, lots of people waiting for their food on the table. There is only one guy in the cashier, him also as a waiter. He is very busy that i cannot wait too long anymore so i ended up leaving cook he still have too much..

Suddenly I wanted to eat ramen at lunch today, so I went to the neighborhood of Yelp to find something delicious. I chose this Tadamasa, I order to Go. I will never go to this ramen shop again. There are only three slices of spinach. One egg, one piece of char siu,(pork) and very little soup. I asked him if he could ask for more soup, He said to add money before giving me soup.I said in front of him, I would never go again. The service attitude is not very good. I have attached photos to see if anyone buys ramen and soup for half. I advise everyone to never go to this place 。
So good! Ordered the Chicken karaage fried rice. The menu photos don't do the dish justice, it looks so much nicer in person.

So soo tasty! Great find! We were craving ramen and we typically go to somewhere in the South Bay. But we were feeling lazy and fell upon this gem! We both ordered the jigoku spicy ramen. My husband got "chuu Kara" level for spiciness and I know he felt it! I got the beginner level "choi Kara" and that was pretty spicy also! You could tell that the ramen was very fresh and made to order. The Ramen was super flavorful and very comforting! The service was even better! The waiter was very attentive and you can tell he worked hard to make sure everyone in the restaurant was enjoying themselves and had everything they needed! I can't stop thinking about this place and can't wait to go back!

Stumbled upon this place while trying to find a ramen joint with my coworkers and say Yokohama Lekei ramen and man am I glad we found this place! The noodles came out perfect and the broth is super flavorful! I got the spicy miso ramen and it was delicious! The only reason I put 4 stars is because in my opinion my soup wasn't that hot(I like my soups super hot) and the egg was a little over cooked, the yolk wasn't really runny. Other than that it was delicious! Definitely ty it.

I've always loved the flavor of the soup base, tonkatsu. During the last year, the flavor has lost a step, however the flavor is still good. Service was good tonight. Food came out promptly and the server was very courteous. I'll still be back to enjoy the ramen and tasty broth.
