Hidden Gem!! What an ABSOLUTE Suprise, every bite was divine. The best sushi in vacaville hands down. Ordered garlic edamame, Gyoza to start. Followed by the Deep Fried California Roll, The Dynamite, volcano, lion king, 49er, & the scallion Roll. All the rolls but one (49er with lemon slices) was fried or baked. All cooked to perfection, no soy sauce needed. Each was like an explosion of amazing taste in your mouth. Staff was no where near rude like other reviewers. It was quiet, well cleaned and they cook with passion. We were checked on adequately & drinks never went empty. Very affordable and perfect for family night or date night even.

The music was like fun 80s japanese vibe and the restaurant was very clean and well kept, the waitress checked on us a bunch. I absolutely loved all the food and we ordered and eat soooo much food! It was so good we could stop!! The baked rolls were so tender you didnt have to chew. The garlic edamame was mind blowingly good. As a foodie and a lover of asian food, i will come back as often as i can. I think the area deters people because its not in a nice location. But who cares! We got so much food and it wasnt expensive! I extremely recommend going! This place is a diamond in the rough. Get your ass down there and pig out to your heart's content

Their server was so rude. She commented on our appearance (we were wearing pjs!) and it felt like she wanted us to leave. Their sign said they closed 9:30 and we came at 8:15. No one was here and I understand that if they don’t have many customers, they are ready to close up, but they were rushing us. Our server had short hair and neck tattoos. When the first appetizer came out, there was like 3 pieces of soft shell crab. Please never go here, there are many others in Vacaville, but this is the worst sushi place in this city.

We were literally treated like family, so warm and welcoming to myself and my two grown Grandsons, who go there often. They moved to Sacramento but say they haven't found another Sushi place that adds up to AYAMI SUSHI in food, ambiance, and great service. 5 ? .
